Jack was now presiding over a line of bodies belonging to a handful of catfolk. His eyes narrowed on each of the corpses. There was no sadness which he felt, no guilt, no remorse. While he didn't necessarily kill them, he had given them a chance to prove themselves useful.

In a way, they did.

Taking out a bag from his inventory, he held it over towards Vivian who was walking towards him. Her Fire Stave was on her back, tucked into a tight looking leather strap diagonally across her back.

"Surround the bodies with these blue arcane stones, evenly spaced, with haste." The stones which were in the bag were used to expand a single target spell into an Area of Effect spell. He didn't really want to resurrect one of these beings at a time. He rather resurrect all of them at the same time.

"Don't resurrect the flea stricken savages!" One of the soldiers charged out of line, he was one of the younger people, least experienced.

Jack turned his head to look at the one who shouted, now standing between him and the other soldiers who were keeping their distance. "Hm?" Stoically he simply tilted his spear towards the human being, his head cocking to the side.

Vivian took the stones, smiling brightly as she would begin to drop a stone every several paces until she ran out of them. Which she did relatively quickly with her raised agility.

"It is done Jack-Jack." Vivian purred out a nickname as she held out the empty bag to him, standing beside him, ignoring the soldier.

Jack turned his attention back towards Vivian and grasped the bag, slowly slipping it out of her grasp and into his inventory. "Just call me Jack," he turned to look over the bodies once more.

The young soldier boy snarled, going to draw his sword.

"You there!" The Lordling shouted, "Return to your grouping!"

Pausing the soldier would look over towards the Lord, his hand still on the handle of his weapon. An angry expression on his face. "But my Lord, you cannot allow this Angel to obscure our justice!"

Jack turned on his heel to look towards the young soldier.

The Lord paled again, sweat forming on his brow as he scratched at his beard. "I warned you boy..." His eyes shifted towards Jack and then to the Soldier, before glancing away.

Jack began walking towards the Soldier, the cold frozen grass crunching beneath his boots.

Slowly the Soldier would turn to look forward, his eyes locking on the Angel who was now towering over him. Quickly he took two steps back, drawing his sword and pointing it up towards Jack. The boy wasn't all that arrogant, but he was ignorant.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah!"

"You're starting to sound like Nakajima..." Uttered Jack as he watched the boy swing the sword, and the moment the weapon hit the carapace of his silver and gold runic half-plate armor, the weapon shattered like glass. Chunks of sword went flying in the opposite direction.

Nakajima turned to look at Jack when he heard his name, and the sound of a breaking sword. Grimacing, he watched as Jack raised the spear and behead the soldier without hesitation.

The body remained standing for a few more seconds, broken sword in hand, before collapsing to the side as it spewed blood like a pond bound fountain.

The Lord looked from the corner of his eye, watching the dead body lay on the frozen grounds. A frown across his lips as he shook his head, bringing his wrist up to cover his mouth slightly.

It was a meaningless death, one a soldier would never want, whether or not they were just a conscript.

The other soldiers closed their eyes, refraining from exhibiting such ignorance or even arrogance in front of an Angel such as this. It would surely mean their death, if their swords couldn't even penetrate that one's armor.
