The rest of the day went by relatively fast. It wasn't normal, per say, since Fred and George didn't pull any pranks. Mrs. Weasley was really concerned for George: who could have died that would leave him this distraught? The only answer her brain could conjure was, 'Fred', but she quickly pushed that thought away. Surely that wasn't possible.
Soon enough, one by one, the order members started to trickle in. Hugo, Lily, Lorcan, and Lysander sat at the small kitchen counter, overlooking the dining table that was filling at an extremely rapid pace. Sadly, Hugo realized that he hadn't met a great deal of the people standing in front of them, though he knew their legacies. The Order members didn't notice the future children sitting there, the children from their time had gone upstairs.
Dumbledore stood up, and tapped a spoon against a goblet, and the room fell into an uneasy silence. "Recently, we've had a little misfortune with a time travel spell. I'd like you to meet Hugo, Lily, Lorcan, and Lysander from 2023!" He said it in a tone that made it seem like 4 children always randomly appear from the future.
That was when the order saw them. Lysander waved, a smile etched on his face, Lily waved as well, but hers was smaller, and more timid. Lorcan just examined everyone equally, his face expressionless. Hugo looked as if he were to burst into tears again. He hated how many times he's cried during the last day, but he was just swamped with responsibilities.
Dumbledore caught on the awkwardness, "I think we should introduce ourselves to them. They know Molly, Sirius, Arthur, and I. Go around the table and introduce yourselves."
Not sure who to begin with, a man in his thirties, with scars etched across his visible limbs, and face spoke, "Remus Lupin." After that they went smoothly along. The children didn't dare to mention they knew a few others.
"Tonks."
"Alastor Moody. That's Nymphadora." He pointed to Tonks, whose hair turned a flaming red. The children didn't comment on it however, seeing as they were used to Teddy doing it.
"Kingsley Shacklebolt."
"Dedalus Diggle."
"Elphias Doge."The next man regarded the children with dislike, except Lily, whom he was still attempting to decipher how he felt about her name, "Severus Snape."
"Emmaline Vance."
"Minerva McGonagall."
"Sturgis Podmore."
"Bill Weasley."Lily had to interrupt there, and said, "We know who you are, Uncle Bill." Hugo jabbed her with his elbow, and she quieted down. Now, they got even more peculiar glances, yet they continued.
"Mundungus Fletcher."
"Rubeus Hagrid."
"Hestia Jones."Dumbledore smiled, "Now I think the future children should introduce themselves. Mr. Granger-Weasley, would you care to start?"
Hugo stood up and nodded, "I'm Hugo Granger-Weasley." He quickly sat back down.
"I'M LYSANDER SCAMANDER!" Lysander shouted. Hugo was sure he could be heard in China.
"I'm Lorcan Scamander. I don't know where my brother's renewed energy came from." Lorcan looked at his twin as if he had grown a second head.
"I'm Lily Potter." Snape looked at Lily sadly, seeing a slight resemblance to Lily, but mostly, to his surprise, Ginny Weasley.
"Lily and Hugo are my grandchildren!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed, walking over and pulling the two into a hug, "Along with Victoire, Dominique, Louis, Molly, Lucy, Fred, Roxanne, Rose, James, and Albus. Right?"
Lily smiled at her grandmother, "I'm surprised you remembered them all."
At the same time, Sirius muttered, "I'm still not too happy about Albus Snivillus."
Snape turned to him, and was about to say something when Lily spoke up, "Can you please stop with my brother's name. I get you don't like him..." She gestured to
Snape, "But you have to respect him."Sirius shrugged, "I respect him. I just don't like his name."
Mrs. Weasley looked at the children from the future, and looking for a change in subject she spoke sternly to them, "I'd like to know what you told George that sent him into hysterics."
