Mothers day part 2

After the initial shock of Kevin and Ben seeing Hope and Gwen all left the cell block, Devlin though clung to his mother slightly avoiding Kevin. Yes he knows how Osmosians can get with to much energy but what he did hurt

Kevin knew he hurt his son, after all he tried to help him escape and he threw it in his face and he didn't want to push to talk to him, how could he? They all went to the living room and talked "so after the fight with ben, kenny and dev most of the power slipped away and I slowly started becoming sane again" kevin said, he had changed into his old mechanics outfit earlier and was sitting on a chair by himself

Kenny spoke up at what Kevin said "all I want to know is why the files of you dad and aunt Gwendolyn were locked" he said looking at Ben

"because if you or devlin saw them you might have gone into the null void to try and talk to him" Gwen spoke with a smile "you two have the same curiosity as your fathers and yes it can be good but if you saw what ben got himself into because of it you'd understand why we did it"

"I understand that but something else is bothering me" dev finally said something after being completely silent "why didn't you tell me or ben who our mothers were" both kenny and dev looked at ben

"because we asked him not to" hope said with a small sigh "we love you boys so so much and we're proud of you but if people found out who your mothers were you wouldn't just have aliens attacking this place every once in a while"

"I travel dimensions and help hope allot in ledger domain and you would have had beings from we're we've been, trying to kill you all" Gwen spoke seriously

"it hurt us more then protected us.." kenny said looking down, he rubbed his arm sadly and hope felt horrible about keeping herself a secret from her son

"kenny I'm sorry but if you knew who your aunt and I go up against you wouldn't be so surprised on why we did it" she said, looking at ben who nodded in agreement

"alright that's enough" max said as he walked in the room with a bunch of pizza boxes "let's enjoy this reunion with something nice to eat"

"....what's the bet they have squid on them?" hope whispered to Gwen "or crickets"

"more then likely" Gwen said with a small smile

"where are the boys" kevin said sitting up, the boys had disappeared from the room, ben, hope, Gwen and max all sighed slightly all knowing that there's no way they'd find them if they didn't want to be found

"do you think they think we ditched because we're upset?" dev asked as he was riding on the back of Kenny's stink fly while holding his nose "and couldn't you have picked someone else?"

"only flyer I have that can be ridden easily" He said as he moved one of his eyes to look at dev "and probably, I kinda feel bad for ditching when great grandpa max showed up though"

"it's weird knowing that I'm related to you all now to be honest" dev said looking back at HQ "I never even thought dad could even have a good bone in his body let alone be a team with Ben and gwe-mom"

"if you think about it, it makes sense, allot of the battles dad and Gwen had as teenagers are on the main computer but they look unfinished and chopped" kenny said as he landed at packmars store and transformed back to kenny, both boys walked inside
