The group walked into a room with Aracknodos followed by this weird color Poe and found it to be a living room. The place looked like one in a normal house except for a few differences. The walls were covered in books, starting from a to z. The couch was normal with two reading chairs sat next to it, side by side. Aracknodos turned to the group. "I apologize for the mess. It's just that I had some issues that you all helped with. Also, Manotice doesn't like it if you leave a huge mess, so try and contain yourselves. But for now, I need to tend to some wounds of a fellow spider." He picked Angel from Vaggie's hands and place him on the ground while everyone looked around. Aracknodos felt around the leg and then called for some help. Manotice walks over with a emergency bag in his hands. Soon, Angel sat on the ground, feeling his leg while Aracknodos whipped his hands with a cloth. "I do hope fighting a level E Deadlock doesn't ruin your apatite." Aracknodos walked into the kitchen with Charlie while everyone sat at a table brought out by Manotice. In the kitchen, Aracknodos flipped through the cookbook and stopped on Jambalaya. "Dear, can you please get some chicken and some shrimp? There might be some in the fridge." Charlie walked over and took out the two meats. "Here you go Al-" Charlie stopped midway through her sentence. Alastor tears started to form in her eyes started to run down her face. It was after Alastor beat Sir Pen and went to make the stuff. Despite Vaggie telling her not to, she went over and asked to help.
"Charlie!" Vaggie was in front of her, arms on her solders. Charlie could still feel the tears fall down her face. Vaggie pulled her and brushed her off, sighing. "Come on, the foods ready." Soon, the creature known as Manotice walked in with Poe, asleep with pieces of noodles dangling on their hood. As they ate and talked, Charlie couldn't shake the memories of Alastor off. After that, the imps and wolf fell asleep, while Vaggie and Angel read, despite Angel's tiredness.
Soon, there was only Charlie and Aracknodos awake left. Charlie was the first to speak. "Aracknodos, you know everything, right?" Aracknodos looked up and then faced her, nodding for yes. "Can you revive the dead?" Aracknodos didn't answer for a bit. Finally, Aracknodos answered. "Somewhat. Only Eternatus could do such a feat. That's how he made his army, with all the souls he had made before." "Was someone killed so Eternatus could make you?" "No, he made us from his own being." "...How was it like living with him?" Aracknodos eyes was scared for a second, but then calmed. "We were like unbreakable toys to him. Eternatus didn't care for us that much, but what could we do? Stand up to him? He punished in inhuman ways, either it being having to eat our own torn off body parts, stabbing us multiple times, or by just making our lives a living nightmare." Charlie looked at him and smiled. "At least you don't have to feel that anymore." Aracknodos sighed as he pat her head. "Did you know we actually know your folks?" Charlie looked up interested. "Yeah, but only on special conditions. And I thin you are just like your mother when we first met them. Kind, caring, happy, hopeful, just like you." Charlie smiled smiled as she drifted asleep.
Aracknodos planned the imps and the wolf stay with him for their own safety. And also to help clean the mess. Their next location would be a spire where, as Aracknodos put it, a place where reality is just a word. With their final farewells, the group headed to their next objective, Nolani, the spire watcher.
