It's morning...me and my companions have fallen asleep on the couch again. Their all still asleep....I sighed and teleport to the kitchen so I don't wake anyone. I make myself a cup of coffee since I am not a morning person.....or at least not anymore.

When I was younger I was more into physical sports mainly wrestling and I was pretty good too...everyone thought so, I would win and win and win every match, no one could best me. I was so good that they gave me a nickname and everything.

I don't care for the attention now though... I was foolish back then. Always looking for a fight and getting into trouble....

I'm passed that now. Fighting is only used as defense, only if necessary....It has been so long since then people have probably forgotten about me their so called champion.

I finished my coffee and sat down at my dining room table as I stared out the window gazing at the snow covered ground outside. It had stopped snowing and the fresh snow looked pretty.

*Buzz buzz*

My phone was vibrating in my pocket. I pulled it out and glanced at it...I had reserved a text from an old friend.

Pearl...the cat. Her and I had both practiced at the TKO zone when we were younger....now she runs the place. I heard she renamed it and everything...but I never stopped by.

I was afraid people would recognize me as someone I wasn't anymore.....

Pearl: "Hey girl! Haven't heard from ya in years, why don't ya come on down and visit!! I'm sure you could use some air."

It would be nice to see her again and catch up on things. I texted her back.

Me: "Sure...why not? Where to?? You're house?"

She texted back.

Pearl: "Nah, come to the old TKO zone! I'm working and could really use some company...please?"

She knew I couldn't stand the word please...I hadn't been to the TKO zone in so long. But it wouldn't be for to long just a quick visit....yeah.

Me: "....oh fine, see ya soon."

And with that I stood up and got on my long black hoodie jacket and stood at the door...

*Whine*

By now my companions were up and awake like me and they could all sense my discomfort.

"I'll be back home soon...okay. Be good. I know I can always count on ya if I need ya."

They all grinned and wagged their tails as I left out the door...the wind hit me suddenly, sending a cold chill up my spine. I shivered as I walked on the fresh powdered snow covered sidewalks to the old TKO zone.

When I arrived Pearl was standing at the front of the place and the new name shocked me even more.

'Shadow-hybrid's Champion Wrestlers' was in big bright white lights on the front of the building...it was my champion nickname.

"Wtf!!! Pearl, are ya nuts?! Why the—what's with the—what was wrong with the old TKO zone?!!" I said completely lost for words. Here I am trying to forget about the champion nickname of my past and there it is right on the front of a building in bright lighted letters for god knows how long?!!

"Hahaha! I knew you'd like it! Come on in!! Ya gotta see what I've done to the place since you were gone...you've sure missed a lot!" Said Pearl as she skipped inside. Oh god what have I gotta myself into?!!

I followed her inside and froze at the entrance. My old champion posters were plastered on the walls...and there were so many monsters here practicing for there next battle.

I gulped sweat was dripping from my skull. I threw my hood on and avoided eye contact with others as I went to Pearl at her front desk.

"I can tell you're busier than normal here so let's just catch up on things when you're on break—" she interrupted me.

"Ah ah ah! Now don't cha pull that crap with me old friend!! I've known ya since we were 5 and I am determined to catch up and work ain't gonna stop me! Now tell me what cha think??" She said with a big smile.

"I....uh...why in the hell are there so many damn posters of me on the walls?! Isn't it a bit much???" I asked.

"Oh don't be ridiculous if it weren't for you this place wouldn't be here!" She said.

"What on earth are ya talking about?!" I asked, her jaw dropped as if I wasn't the right person she had known all these years. "Oh come now, ya can't be that old that you're forgetting stuff already! You were the one who kept wrestling for fundraising money so the place won't be torn down for being so old and in desperate need of repair. You remember that don't cha??" Said Pearl.

Now I remembered...the place was so bad things were starting to fall apart as soon as ya touched them....let alone used them back then. I nodded and she smiled...

"Undyne wait up!!" Said a familiar voice. Someone rushed passed me...and one of them was Papyrus. "Hmm! Say Pearl How long has the skeleton over there been here?" I asked as I watched Papyrus and a strong young fish woman (who I assume is Undyne) stretch/warm up before practice.

"Oh...Papyrus and Undyne? Well, Undyne has been here for a few years now and Papyrus just started 6 months ago. He's a fast learner but a bit of a softy than a fighter. Nice kid, good soul. Although Undyne sort of reminds me of a younger you, Vixxie." Said Pearl, with s small chuckle.

I watched them. She was right about that Undyne...She did act like me. Stubborn, tough, determined, aggressive, and always looking for a fight. I watched them both practice...she was very strong with her attacks and Papyrus kept up with her.

I was impressed by Papyrus's skills of defense but he was lacking on balance making his weakness exposed. And Undyne's technique was sloppy with no focus or goal just out of control rage.

They weren't training properly...my ear twitched in annoyance at this but I stayed quiet.

Me and Pearl caught up and I got more information about Papyrus and Undyne.

Undyne looks up to my achievements and wants to go beyond what I did to become the best of the best. And Papyrus thinks that he'll get more friends this way....

I sighed. This place has really changed since I left. It's gotten out of control and lacks focus.....this wasn't right. "Whatcha thingin' there Vixxie?" Pearl asked.

"I think I wanna visit more often. Only this time...I'll be here to train again, maybe even teach these kids a thing or too."
