It's another difficult day for the Nyvians. The Constellation Tribe has just ended another war between the Sun Tribe, so everyone has left scarred. All of Nyve's Improvers have been left cracked, therefore they have forgotten their entire purpose. The King and Queen have to try to forget this war had ever happened so that they can choose the next set of Improvers. The King, being a very pacifistic man, has fallen into another one of his depressing states because of this. It is definitely going to be hard to host an entire TV show while pretending to be happy and outgoing and not depressed again.
C-071, we can just call him Colin, has just woken up. As for T-053, he's been awake for several hours now. Colin strolled out of his bedroom and into the kitchen. Tucker was there as well, making himself a cup of Demoyan fyre.
- "Good morning, C."
He said, chuckling a bit.
- "G-Good morning..."
Colin stammered and tried to smile. He walked over to the couch and switched on the TV. Tucker looked at Colin and smiled to himself. He looked back at his cup and shuffled over to the cupboard and found the stardust. Colin looked behind his shoulder to find Tucker running across the kitchen looking for ingredients for his fyre. Colin chuckled.
While running around the room, Tucker tripped and knocked down a photo.
- "Ah! The photo!"
He stared at the photo, nearly frightened. The photo was cracked through Tucker's eye. For a second, it seemed as if there was a frown on the two faces instead of a smile. He blinked quickly and shook his head. Colin turned around on the sofa and asked,
- "What happened to— why did you just shake your head?"
Tucker used his telekinesis to lift the shards and quickly said,
- "Hallucinations... kind of... happened."
- "Oh. Well, um, I think your fyre is already done. You can come sit here."
Tucker nodded and picked up his fyre and sat next to Colin.
- "So... They're picking the Improvers today."
Tucker said, sipping his fyre.
- "Haha... Wouldn't it be funny if they picked us?"
Colin chuckled.
- "Heh... It would."
Tucker smiled.
Suddenly, the speakers around us spoke,
- "Attention all Nyvians! Today is the day queen Tsuki and king Apollo choose the newest set of Improvers! I hope everyone is prepared, just in case they get chosen..."
The TV automatically switched to the news channel.
- "Greetings, all Nyvians. As F-143 stated, today is the day we choose our Improvers. Just because there might be some newborns in the audience, our king Apollo would like to say this."
The king walked onto the stage nervously.
- "Uhm... H-Hi! This, of course, is your King—King Apollo. If you have just... arisen, you—you might not kn-know what an Impr-Improver is."
Tsuki glanced at the Apollo and winked at him.
- "Er... Um... Ah! An Improver is someone who—who, well, improves planets. Sometimes while a—a war occurs... the Deyomans leave some planets destroyed. Knowing this, we send some of our Improvers to go fix the planet. But... since the Improvers aren't very skilled in battle, they become very fragile and can get... c-cracked... in the wars."
