Chapter 6: This Seems Familiar...

A week later...

It's time for Cole to present his selections for the new wave of Planet Destroyers. He is still trying to recover from the Celestial War that happened, but it's getting difficult. Baize has been constantly trying to comfort Cole, but he always ends up thinking he is a weak failure, just like the certain somebody who is currently suffering in the dark, suffocating void of outer space. 

Cole's usual outfit, a black leather jacket with red pants, had been replaced with a fancy suit of a similar colour scheme. He wore a tuxedo which was black with a black rose stuck in it, trousers that were the same maroon as his usual pants, a white dress shirt with a black bowtie, and black pants. His hair was swooped back neatly and he had big earrings stuck through his horns. Baize was wearing a dress that cut off at her stomach and continued below. The top part was black with a cut-out sun on her chest. The lower part of the dress was much more flowy and loose. It was still black like the top, but it had hot-pink stripes on the bottom. Baize's hair was in a bun with two chunks of hair framing her face. She had 4 golden bracelets on her horns, 2 on each horn. She also had 5 golden bracelets on her right arm.

The building they were standing in was a big, almost theatre-like, hall. The hall was filled with people from all over the Sun Tribe. Most from Demoy, while some visiting from other planets. King Cole spoke up to his microphone.

- "Good morning, everyone! This probably goes without saying, but I am Cole, king and greatest idol of the fabulous, glorious, brilliant Sun Tribe.~ Today, me and my wife, Queen Baize, are going to announce our selections of the newest set of Planet Destroyers!~ If there are any children in the audience, Queen Baize will explain to you what a Planet Destroyer really is."

Applause from the audience. Cole moved aside and gave his microphone to Baize as she walked into the centre of the stage. 

- "Hello, small, fragile children! My name's Baize, queen of the Sun Tribe," Some cheers were heard from the audience, ", and I'll be telling you what a Planet Destroyer is. In case you didn't know already, a Planet Destroyer's job is to, well, destroy other planets!~ Of course, they never destroy Sun Tribe planets. Only Moon Tribe planets or those They can sadly only crush one planet per day, but that's still quite a good job. Planet Destroyers are 9-times-out-of-10 in teams, usually of 4 or 5 people. Recently, due to unforeseen events, we lost a huge amount of PDs, so that meant about 2,000 years without destroying planets with up-to-date tech. We've been resorting to old methods of Destroying, such as using our fragile old SPADEs."

More applause. Baize passed the microphone on to Cole.

- "So, now that everyone understands what exactly a PD is, it's time we show you our well-thought-out selections of the said Planet Destroyers. Oh, by the way! Not many of you might know this, but we recently managed to track down a Moon Tribe Improver ship heading to Earth, so some of you may be sent to this planet to go break those weak little Moon Tribe kids."

The screen behind them lit up and slot-machine like reels were spinning quickly through the names of the selected Planet Destroyers. Everyone in the audience payed close attention to it.

- "Alright! Let's see who the first one is!" The reels landed on... "X-49M!" The reels spun again and landed on... "S-W75!" Again... "Z-3M2! And finally..." One last time... "7-AB4! You four are the first group!~"

X-49M, S-W75, Z-3M2, and 7-AB4 all proudly walked to the stage. 

- "All right, you're all on the stage, so I will tell you four the planet you're supposed to destroy. We found a group of those silly little Improvers over on Qewa, you know, that planet we destroyed a long, long time ago, and they're getting pretty close to fixing that gorgously broken planet of ours. I'd appreciate it if you tore those Improvers apart as well as breaking the planet."
