While at the prom, all of the kids (or most at least) paired off into couples.
There was Chloe and Jake, which I thought was so sweet and very reasonable since we saw them together a few episodes back.

The only thing I didn't like about their relationship was that it just happened. We were just expected to know that they were together. There were no awkward glances, or nervous slip ups, or announcing that they have a crush on each other, or even hinting at their feelings, it was just - "so this is our first date."
I don't know about you, but when Jake said that, I was very shocked and had to take a moment to get used to the idea.
But I still think it worked well, and May-Li being the overprotective Mother was really funny to watch. And it was right of them to tell her to leave them alone. I'd do the same if it was my Mum.

Then there was Finn and Ivy, which again was very believable since Finn previously had a crush on her when he met her at the leisure centre.

Although, I did prefer their relationship to Chloe and Jake's because it didn't just happen. We saw it happen.
We saw Finn being nervous.
We saw their awkward first conversation.
We saw him blurt out 'turnips' when trying to talk to her.
