Chapter 9

Serena remembered something, she was the girl Ash was talking about. Wait, was she dreaming? She remembered some things but not all to be certain.

She decided to text her friends in order to be sure.

Serena: "Hey quick question, did Ash and I ever be friends?"

Mallow: "Um, at some point yes, you were very close friends."

Dawn: "Actually you guys were dating."

May: "Yup, everything was going great until..."

Serena: "Until what?"

Mallow: "Well, you lost your memory about three years ago."

Serena: "But how could that be if I didn't forget you guys."

Mallow: "The doctor said you lost your most recent memories, a.k.a Ash."

Dawn: "This just popped into my head, why are asking about Ash anyways?"

Ash: "?"

Mallow: "ASH???"

Dawn: "ASH???"

Ash: "Huh?"

Mallow: "Wtf are you doing in this chat?"

Ash: "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk."

Mallow: "Gtfo you stupid piece of..."

Ash: "ok, ok, ok, I'm leaving... gosh dang..."

Mallow: "Back to the conversation..."

Serena: "wait, are you guys friends with Ash?"

Dawn: "yeah, we've been friends, we all stayed in touch when he left for boarding school."

Serena: "Do you know why he left for boarding school?"

Mallow: "Actually, he went because you forgot him..."

Serena: "I have to go talk to him."

Mallow: "ok, I'll give u his number."

Serena received the number as Mallow sent it, she had to talk to him again.

She dialed the number, it rang.

"Yooooooo this is Ash speaking..." the voice on the end said.

"Ash? It's Serena..."

"Serena? Why are you calling, do you need something?" He said wondering if something was wrong.

"Hey Ash, do you- I mean do we..." Serena couldn't find the words to speak.

"I can't really understand you." Ash answered.

"Really weird question, am I the person you were telling me the other day?"

"Actually, yes you were, but how'd you know?" He answered sort of shocked.

"I don't know how to explain it but some part of my mind just clicked or something."

"Look Serena, I understand that you moved on with your life so my first thing is, can we be friends?"

Serena smiled on the other end. "Of course Ash."

"All right then, see you tomorrow at school?"

"See you tomorrow."

Hearing her voice again was nice. Ash thought as he hung up the phone. Still hard to believe that she remembered him. He could've sworn she would never remebered.

Only problem is...

Where does he go now?

He quickly dials Mallow's number. Mallow was the one he kept in touch with the most.

"Hellooooooo Mallow speaking..."

"Hey Mallow it's Ash."

"Oh hey Ash, what's up?"

"Did you give Serena my number?"

"Maybe... what makes you ask?"

"Well Serena just called, and she asked if I wanted to be friends."

"That's good, you still like her don't you." Her could feel the grin on her face as she said that.

"I told her that I know she has a boyfriend so I wanted to be friends for now."

"Wow, I didn't think your brain could process all that information."

"Thanks..." He replied sarcastically.

"I have to go, my dad's making me and my brother compete for who can make the best dish for the restaurant."

"Yum, save me some."

"Byeeeeeee." She hung up the phone.

Ash quickly realized he needed to eat something and he went ahead and made some ramen. It was gone in about 30 seconds.

Tomorrow would come eventually...

OK guys once again another chapter is complete, I'm sorry for all this random mix up and stuff and just all of a sudden popping out of nowhere type of stuff, I hope you all are having a great day wherever you are.
