Hey electi.

Just typing this to warn you that this is a real story so I would not appreciate plagiarism; it's a crime.

If you see anyone who's used my book or has published it in another language, do not hesitate to inform me.

Please note: this is my first draft of the story. It has neither been edited nor proofread, and as such might be erroneous. Pardon the mistakes and the stress you may be put through to make sense of the nonsense. Thank you for understanding.

I also tried as much as possible to reduce the level of cliché it might get. Although it can be a little cringy and intense attimes; the first draft was written when I was 14, so bear with me.

Ok, um, quick glossary.

Electi: Latin. Meaning chosen.

Capitulum: Latin. Meaning chapter.

Malum: Latin, meaning evil

Probus: Latin, meaning upright, just, righteous. It's used in the book as the name of the city one of the characters lives in.

Aeternum: Latin, meaning eternal, forever. It's also the name of a kingdom.

Mors: Latin, meaning death.

Candlemas: a celebration in Probus. Originally from Russia.

Also, and this is very important, my chapters are long. How long? Say 2500-3500. Sometimes more. For now at least. So if you really want to enjoy the book, make sure you sit tight and brace yourself.

That said, let's read Electi...
