Susie, Noelle, and her mom sat in the hospital room, waiting for the doctor to get back with the X-ray results. After a few minutes of waiting, the doctor came in, with his laptop. "I have the X-ray... and I can't say I have the best news...", He said. He pulled up the X-ray.

Oh my.. That looks pretty bad. Will they have to operate on her to put anything back in place?", Noelle's mom said. Noelle couldn't even bear to look. "Nope. I just need to reset the bone and put a cast on. Not going to lie, that will probably hurt, resetting the bone," He said. Susie's heart dropped. "Are you going to do that now?", She said. "Yes... I'll try not to hurt you as much, but it's probably going to hurt pretty bad... Now come here so we can get it over with", the doctor said. Susie scooted near the doctor, with fear of the pain. Noelle grabbed Susie's right hand and held it tight. "Okay, ready? Keep it as still as possible", He said, straightening her arm slowly. "Oww....", Susie was already in pain. He began. Crick! Snap- snap! Crac! Snap! Susie began to tear up. "Ow-ww...", She was crying a bit. Noelle gave her an "it's okay" look. Soon it was over, and they began to put the cast on her arm. "What color do you want?", The nurse asked her. There weren't many choices. Just a dull pink, a light blue, and this weird orange color. "I'll take the pink, I guess...", Susie said.
They got back to Noelle's house and Susie ended up falling asleep on the car ride back.
