-Four Months Later-
It was two weeks before Cooper's third birthday. Sydney was not adjusting to military wife very well. All she wanted was Bucky to come home.
She was scared all the time and jealous of Natasha. Natasha had adjusted to it all even had play dates for Zoey set up with the other wives. Sydney was on the phone crying about how he was missing Cooper's birthday and Aiden's first Christmas.
"Sydney baby Im gonna miss a lot of things. It comes with the job deployment sucks baby." Bucky said
Sydney looked down. "Syd baby I have to go tell the boys I love them and I will talk to you in a few days. I love you." He said and blew her a kiss.
She hung up without saying a word. Sydney took the boys down to Georgia the weekend of Cooper's birthday they had a small get together for it. They also celebrated Christmas that weekend as well.
Bucky spent his 21st birthday arguing with Sydney. She just wanted her husband home. The boys were fighting so he asked his mom to take them for a few days. He figured Sydney could use a few days to herself.
Natasha had one of the other wives watch Zoey. So they could go enjoy the spa center in town. Natasha introduced her the other military wives.
She was starting to get the idea she wasn't going to fit in at each luncheon Nat dragged her too. Sydney wasn't use to being proper and poise. All you had to do was look at their senior prom picture.
She worked hard to get her body back after having Cooper. Sydney wore a bright pink sequin cut out dress to her prom. Bucky was crazy over her dress.
A few nights later as she was folding clothes she was talking to Bucky. "You alright baby.." he said
"Yeah..just folding clothes." She said
"Nat is at a dinner party what are you doing home?" He said
"I didn't have a dress..or a sitter." She said
"Sydney..darlin I told you this would be hard. But I cant be focused on whats going on at home while Im here. I have to focus on staying alive to get home to you." He said
"I understand that. Im sorry I just dont know how to get along with the wives. But I will try I have to go feed Aiden." She said
"Sydney.." he said as she hung up.
He groaned.
"Trouble with Sydney." Steve said
"Yeah.." he said
"Whats her deal?" Sam said
"She wants me home..she doesnt want to try to make friends. She wants me home. Im use to her clingyness. But this is beyond that." He said as they were walking back.
Bucky had his wife up his ass about coming home. But on the other side of the fence. He had no idea that his dad James was keeping secrets about his health.
He also had Nikki still not talking to him all of his letters to her were piling up on her desk. She had blocked his emails so he would hand write her when he could.
