2.1: Help

Its been a few months since me and Quann started talking. We flirt and joke and such and she's been nothing but sweet.

I swear its like we're inseperable. You could never find people closer than us two. We have all classes except 2 together but they dont really matter. Its kinda like she's became my best friend. We text everyday and going out all the time.

Quann is honestly like a get away, a breath of fresh air. But she wants to spend the weekend at my house after the game Friday....

"Yeah my parents aren't gonna be here for the weekend and ian wanna stay with my brothers", she says passing the ball to me.

"Well I dunno, I gotta check with my parents first" I shoot a brick and sigh as she grabs the ball passing it back.

"Okay thats fine, but lemme know before the end of tonight dawg."

"I gotchu" I reassure her, shooting again making it this time.

We walk towards the locker room and I grab my phone and she grabs her Powerade.

Ma Dukes😩💙: what time do I need to pick you up?

Me: you can come rn, its just me and Quann. Speaking of which can she stay the weekend, her parents will be out of town

I press send and hold my breath. I knew it was best to text mom and ask because she wasn't as harsh as my father. A few seconds later my phone dings and flashes.

Ma Dukes😩💙: of course she can, your father aint gonna be home and I like Quann so....

I smiles and place my phone in gym shorts. Quann glances at me while she sips her blue Powerade.

"So why you all smiles," she asks and I quickly roll my eyes. "Mind ya business girl" I laugh "but my ma said you can stay this weekend." I punch her arm playfully "but dont be doing allat gay shit." We both laugh and she lughtly hits me back. "Yeah okay no promises," she winks and licks her lips.

Walking out to my car, she hugs me. "See ya later mamas," she says as I step into my car with a grin on my face. I wave and quickly fall asleep as soon as the car starts moving.

·Quann's POV·

I begin to walk home due to the fact ion live to far away. I breathe in the cool, crisp air and looked up at the stars. It was so peaceful, calm.

After about 10 minutes of walking I arrive at a big 2 story white house, aka my home. I shove the key into the lock and enter into immediate crying.

I sigh and pick up my 1 year old brother, Kae'Shun from the floor and enter the living room where my 16 year old brother, Rae'Vunn was sleep on the couch. My parents weren't ever home so I wasnt shocked by the state of things.

Putting my now quiet brother in his crib, I head to my room and grab a pair of grey tommy boxers and a nike sports bra. I go towards my bathroom picking up a towel on the way.

Before stepping in the shower I take off my clothes and adjust the water to the right temperature.

I stepped in the shower and let the water drip down my sore body. About 30 minutes later I hooped out and got into my boxers and sports bra as the doorbell rang.

I walked through the hallway and down the stairs noticing both of my sleeping brothers on the way.

The doorbell frantically rings again and I yell "coming" from the living room. I open the door to see nothing less but a bleading, sobbing, and bruised Ronni....
