•Quann's POV•
I watched her as she peacefully slept in my arms and I realized this might be the first time I'm truly happy. I felt another type of thing when it comes to this girl.
But I know I'd never be able to admit it... this is the beginning.
~The Next Day~
I gave her a kiss on her forehead and smiled. She looked so peaceful as she slept, but I knew I had to wake her up for school.
Roni's alarm went off and she started to slightly move. I shook her softly and she began to grumble then wake up.
"Good morning beautiful," I exclaimed as her eyes opened. She returned my kindness with a beautiful smile and sat up after myself; then we both got ready for school.
~Breakfast~
•Roni's POV•I slept peacefully, atleast more peacefully than I expected to. It was so comforting knowing that she was atleast there.
Quann grabbed my hand and worriedly looked me in the eyes.
"I'll meet you at your locker RIGHT after last block. You better be there," she said with a smirk before she kissed my cheek and walked away.
•••
I stood outside my locker, tossing my bag onto my back. I feel arms wrap around my waist and a kiss on my cheek.
"Hey beautiful," her voice slides out then my phone dings.
Hey you gotta come home today, it's important
My mom... why is she texting me.. we haven't talked since the day of the situation."I'm sorry, I have to go home today," I tell her as a concerned look grows on her face. Then she nods.
We drive in silence for a few minutes until "my" house appears. I notice boxes and multiple pieces of furniture from my bedroom thrown in the driveway.. and smoke coming from the yard.
I hop out of the car as it's slowing down and see my parents arguing. My father picks up another box and tosses it into the fire. My mother sighs into her hands and glances at me with a frown on her face.
"I'm sorry," she mouths towards my direction. He chucks box after box into the flame and a tear trickles down my face...
I hop out the car as it stops in front of the house and scream. "What the fuck! Leave my shit alone!"
My dad just smiles and sits down. "You aren't welcome here anymore, you have to go"; my mother sits there with the look of knowing regret in her eyes.
"That's fine, I don't want to be here anyways. Burn my shit. Kick me out. Just whenever I don't come back... remember that"
*im now gonna write more frequently, my life was hectic and my apologiesssss🥺😭*
