The Pain That No one Sees but Her

•Quann's POV•

  After I finally got Roni In the car, I take her to Waffle House. She broke down in the car and we rode in silence and sitting at this table she's blanked out.

  "Bae? BAE", I say a little louder so she snaps out of it. "Huh..." "eat something."

  She takes a few bites and pushes her plate away. "You're done?" Roni nods her head and lays it down on the table. I look at her with a feeling of remorse in my eyes.

~15 minutes later~
•Roni's POV•

  We're in the car again and I couldn't eat. Quann hasn't been interrogating me and I appreciate that. I'm not exactly sure what exactly I'm going to do but I don't want to make her feel responsible for me.

"Hey.." she says and I look over. She goes to lay her hand on my thigh and I automatically jump.

"Sorry," her voice cracks and I just nod. "You can talk to me, you know," I nod again.

We get to the house and it's about 7:30 ish. She grabs our school bags along with our left over food and we head inside.

I grab some clothes and head for the shower. Cutting on the hot water, I take a deep breath as I realize what I'm going to do.

~30 minutes later~

I step out of the shower slipping on the clothes I had and went into the room. Quann's sitting at the edge of the bed all tensed up.

This is going to be harder than I thought.

I fake yawn and get into the bed and "fall" asleep.

•Quann's POV•

She looks so peaceful.. she hasn't ate much, done much in general really. I get into the shower and get straight into bed whenever I get out.

I don't want to hold Roni because it might wake her up; so instead I kiss her forehead and sigh. "Goodnight beautiful," I whisper as she sleeps.

Soon, I'm asleep myself...

~the next day~

I wake up and I decided that we weren't going to school today. But as I turn over I realize Roni is gone...
