The Snake

Rainbow of colours, thou scales looks,

Eyes full of a soul, only a devil knows,

Sliding and crawling, digging and climbing,

O thou legless body, can do anything,

Killing prey with either venom or strangling,

O serpent thou a king,

Who watches with jeweled eyes, and smelling with tongue,

Body,

either with a hood, or rattle,

Horns or big enough body to catch antelope,

The Snake, a beautiful being,

Hissing and striking,

Destroying, what you bite in,

O The Serpent, A manifestation of a King,

May the snake never go extinct.
