Flashback
I was getting bored so I decided to go over Freeman's place. Once I got over there, I told him to let me in.
"Hey bestie!" I said hugging him.
He hugged me back.
"Hey lil girl," he said.
"Maaaan. You one year older than me I ain't that little."
"Now you know I wasn't talking about your age," he said, "ole smurf size ass."
"So mean."
I went to sit on the couch and made myself comfortable. He sat right next to me.
"Monica," he said all serious.
"Yeah."
"I need to ask you a serious question," he said.
"Okay what is it?"
"Do you wanna be my girl?," he asked.
"What?"
"Do you wanna be my girl?," he asked again.
"Oh my god! Yes!" I said all happy and shit.
He grabbed my face and kissed me.
I finally got a good one.
Present
Most memories I have of him are very happy. Only a few are unpleasant...
Over the last few days, Trayveon and Josh moved into Miracle's mom house, we made a plan, my mom came home, my grandparents stayed over.
Today was Thanksgiving. Me, my grandma, and my mom still had some more food to make. We wasn't inviting everybody and they auntie, but we did invite family and close friends.
"I can't wait for this food to be ready!" Josh said.
"Sit yo real hungry ass down."
"You always gotta say some shit to me," he said, "Jayceon get yo girl."
"Naw bro. You got this. I can't control her," Jayceon said.
"Wow," Josh said.
"Amiya? You gon get before I knock her ass out?" He asked.
"Shiiit. Who gon let you touch her?" Cortez said.
"Right! But my bestie don't need no help. She a bad bitch!" Amiya said.
"Periodttt.!" I said, "I'm ready!"
He sat his ass down.
"Mttchtt. The disrespect," Josh said.
"What's disrespectful is the fact that you still got your mask on from Halloween when it's Thanksgiving."
"Bye. I know yo 2 feet ass ain't talking," Josh said.
"Boy I know you ain't talking with yo 2 inch di-."
"Aye! Not in front of Miracle," Jayceon said in tears.
It ain't never that funny cuz I was serious.
"Stop arguing and come help us cook," my momma said.
"Coming mommy."
I got up and went into the kitchen.
"You made a nice little family of your own. I was a little concerned about moving you to another school, but I feel like I made the right choice," my momma said.
