1 week later
Stella rolls over to see a message from her boyfriend
Michael - good morning beautiful have a good day at school I love you <3
Stella - thank you babe talk to you after school I love you too <3
She places her phone down and gets ready for classes she pulls on her leotard and throws shorts and at shirt over the top she grabs her bag and heads downstairs
"Hey" Hannah smiles
"Morning" Stella replies
"Ready for our last day for two weeks" Hannah smiles
"Yay I'm going to stay here with you for the two weeks" Stella says
"Yay I have a friend" Hannah laughs
"We have the new teacher coming in today for ballet" Hannah continues
"Oh yeah I forgot about that" Stella says grabbing food for the day
They arrive at school and Stella heads to her hip hop class
They run through some routines before class comes to an end
"Hey let's get to ballet" Hannah smiles
"Okay" Stella says
"So how's the boyfriend" Hannah says
"He's good I talked to him this morning" Stella says
"That's good" Hannah says as they get to class
"GIRLS HURRY UP YOU ARE LATE" miss crow the new teacher yells
"no we're not" Hannah laughs
"Don't back chat me" miss crow growls
Hannah scurries off and Stella follows behind
"Okay class we are going to do basics so I can tell if you're good enough" miss crow says
Stella silently cheers she knows all the basics
She starts on the bar moving slowly to the music
"You" miss crow snaps Stella turns around
"Me" Stella smiles
"Yes you, point your toes more" Miss crow spits
"okay" Stella says
"Fingers more light" miss crow says
Stella follows along
"Right stop, go sit down and watch the other girls they're doing it correctly" miss crow spits
"But" Stella says astounded
"But nothing sit down" miss crow says
It's the end class and Stella's just about to walk out for lunch
"Stella" miss crow says
"Yes miss" Stella says
"Where do you think you're going" miss crow questions
"To lunch" Stella answers
"Not until you do leaps" miss crow booms
"I did them already" Stella questions
"Not to my standard" miss crow says
Stella stares blankly at her
"What are you waiting for" miss crow says
Stella puts down her bag and leaps across the room
"Higher"
"More apart
"Arms firm"
"Stop stop stop" miss crow finishes
Stella stops out of breath
"What would you call that" Miss crow booms
"A leap" Stella questions
"Stupid girl you're no good, you think you're so perfect, truth be told in the real world you wouldn't make it, If I was you I wouldn't even try for the scholarship" miss crow yells
The words strike a nerve in Stella and tears start to flow
"See if you cry at a little bit of advice you really are silly and childish" miss crow says
Stella grabs her bag and rushes out of the studio tears still flowing
"Am I really that bad" Stella says to herself
She takes out her phone and heads to the bathroom locking the door behind her
"Hey babe" Michaels voice rings through the phone
"hey" Stella sniffles
"Babe are you crying" Michael panics
"Yeah" Stella says crying harder
"Baby what happened" Michael says
"I was having a good day, but then we have a new teacher and she's really mean and criticised everything I did and told me everything I was doing was wrong then she told me that I shouldn't even try for the scholarship" Stella cries
"Awh baby don't listen to her you're an amazing dancer don't let some old fart tell you what to do or how to do it" Michael says
"Thank you" Stella sniffles
"I didn't do anything" Michael says
"Just for being there for me" Stella says
"Baby I'll always will be here" Michael says
"I have to go to my next class" Stella sighs
"Okay Skype me when you get home baby" Michael says
"Okay baby I love you so much" Stella says
"I love you too baby" Michael says before Stella hangs up the phone
And wipes her cheeks and takes a deep breath before walking out the bathroom to her last class for two weeks.
