I am Samantha, Samantha Lewis. My religious mom raised me all by herself after my father leave us when I was still a baby. For whatever reason I don't know. She always say that I inherited his facial features, and the only trait I inherited with my mom was her impatient and introvert attitude.
As a kid, I usually asked my mom if angels do exist. Just like what I usually see on the wall paintings in our church. She almost made me believe that they're true though, til' I grew up. Understand things that is not true and acceptable in reality just like why did my father leave us.
I went here in Florida to take my college degree in Multimedia Arts. I think that this is a perfect place to study, because of its beautiful places. The first time I moved in here, there is this one thing of beauty that captured my attention when I arrived.
That thing is that old but still dependable lighthouse just a few blocks away from my apartment.
Its been a month since the 2nd semestral started. I knew some of the students here although its just a small college school unlike the grand universities in the city. Friends? Uh. I have em. But you will never have a hard time counting them using your fingers in your two hands.
My hang out place whenever I have a free time is the roof deck, from there I can take a wide view of the state and can even take a sample shots of the lighthouse.
"Sam! There you are..."
I turn around and saw this fair skinned lady with a long black hair and indian tribe facial features approaching me.
"Alex." I called back her name.
Alex is Alexandria Hughman. She is a student of Law. Native American with a whisk of indian in her blood. She was the first student here that approached me.
"Wazzup with the photo taking? Captured anything?" As she leaned on one of the metal railings on the roof.
"Nah, just like the usual." As I browse my camera with its captured images.
"You seemed to be hooked up with that lighthouse, huh." She peeked on my cam.
I just crooked up a smile as I continue browsing.
"It was already there when I arrived here. I think it help a lot of people already."
"Help a lot of people here? Alex, what are you talking about?" I looked and asked her in a confused tone.
"Haha, ofcourse it help a lot of sailors out there silly." She laughed out.
Well, it make sense. Lighthouses are built to guide ships or to warn them of danger. So I let go of what Alex said a while ago.
When I got home I transfered my files on my camera to my computer and arrange it on my portfolio that I needed to submit to my professor tomorrow.
As I checked each images my camera taken, there was this photo that has a blurred details on it. I zoomed it in to examine it more. It was an image of a human.

The next day, I went straight ahead to my professor's office so that I can submit my portfolio when I bumped someone. I apologized quickly and looked at him.
"Hey,I'm sorry. I didn't saw you coming. Wait, you look familiar." He continue what he was saying while I stared at him holding my camera that is hanged around my neck.
"Are you one of my classmates? Are you Samantha?" He asked me leaving a smile on his face.
"Yeah. I'm Sam, and you are?"
"Oh, I'm Michael Smith. Just call me Michael."
"I'm sorry Michael, it's nice to know you but I need to go now. You know, deadlines." I shrugged and lift up my camera to show him what I meant.
