The next day is just like any other day here at school. I saw Alex sitting next this gal with a deep black hair with red highlights on the end, porcelain skinned, you can recognized the blood that makes her cheeks blush red. Her eyes were drawed with a thick eyeliner.
I passed the cafeteria. I guess I'm not the only one who had a new friend, and I'm happy for Alex.
"Yow." Someone poked my back.
"Hey." I looked back, it's him. Again.
"Social Science right?" He asked.
"Y-yeah." I replied while pushing the room's door. There's a few students in this class, that's why I can't believe that I didn't notice Michael before. He sit right beside me.
"I heard we had an assignment, did you made it?"
"Yep." I shortly replied while taking out my notes inside my bag. I noticed him looking at my notes.
"You didn't do yours,do you?"
"Can I copy some of your answers?"
I didn't reply instead I gave him my notes.
"Just make it quick or else were both dead."
"Thanks, I pay you back later." As he hurriedly copied some of my answers in his notes.
While our professor was busy writing in the white board, he whispered.
"Did you already been in a farm or some sort of it?"
"Nope. I grew up in the city." I answered while writing down the lecture on my notebook.
After a few discussion, the bell rang. I hurriedly pack up my things and went out of our room. Michael is right behind me when a group of men called him from afar.
"Mike!" Shouted by a tall skinny man, one of the person in the group.Michael waved his hand.
"See you around Sam." And ran towards the group.
He didn't looked back at me. I passed by the bulletin board when I noticed some new posted pictures inside the sliding glass. I took a minute to stop and browse some of them. Some are pictures of the football team winning the past state tournament, some newbies in the school, and the official members of the organization that sponsored our school named stavros kosmos. A familiar face in the picture caught my attention.
"Michael. He's one of them."
--------
Stavros kosmos is an international non-profit organization that works to bring Christian faith and values to unreached marketplaces of the world and to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
An article appeared when I searched it in the internet.
"Stavros kosmos" I mumbled.
It was not my first time to be drawn near a Christian. I mean, there are times when I walked in the mall, park or just hanging around somewhere then suddenly someone will approach me and began to discuss some verses in the bible. I'm not against it actually, but it annoys me sometimes.
I dunno, it makes me feel like my faith on what I believe in is not strong enough like them. What's wrong with what I believe and whom I believe? What's wrong with my religion that they put me on pressure to come with one of their worship thing? And to force me to listen and to become one of them? Were all human after all, breathing and living in this same earth.
When I hear about it, it only had the same impression to me. All of them, they're just all the same.
