One of the very first books I read on this site as a thirteen year old but also a book I still read almost 10 years later, it directed me towards musical legends including The Doors and Fleetwood Mac and had me wanting to be the next Jimi Hendrix.
It's not too long, can be finished in a day if you're a bookworm with nothing to do this Christmas holidays, which I fully advise, beats following mum around when she decides Christmas Eve is the day to visit your great aunt who you haven't seen in three years. I recommend it to all lovers of a feel-good romance where the favoured underdog gets the upper hand and to all those who still don't quite know which musical direction they want to take their lives in. If you don't know by now that you want Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses playing as you walk out for the knock out against you arch nemesis, then I don't know why you're still here... jokes, I want reads too but seriously jules130 deserves it.
This book gave me a role model in the form of the rockstar that is Evelyn of being someone you're proud of and expressing that confidently and it also created my first ideology of a perfect man, so thank you jules130 for conceiving the fine specimen that is Gabriel Halen, his and Evelyn's story will always be one of my favourites and rightfully deserves the number one spot in my heart and obviously where it counts, like here, on Wattpad.
The spin-off, Rock Prodigy, is also amazing, I don't think I really cried much from ages 10 to 16, clearly i'm stating that I cry a lot more now as an adult but I guess that's life when you're low-key depressed and the only way to escape the misery that is your mind is by reading, even if it is stories like this one where the main, and most of the sub, characters have definitely had it worse off than you have albeit they're not real people; it gives me the excuse to cry as Rose and Mac have such a hauntingly beautiful relationship, the kind most dream of but only some experience. Everything she goes through I will never fully understand but the way the author portrays Rose's story, I felt like I was her, feeling every emotion she did.
I didn't understand talent until I read these, as although books like Holes and The Princess Diaries are great and are also classed in my favourites category, outside the Wattpad world, I just really respect the talent on this website as some of the authors' writing are so raw and honest; I don't know if it's because they're just another person sitting behind a computer and we don't know who they are, could in fact be the great aunt you haven't visited in three years, but I believe not knowing makes it that much more captivating. On that note, enjoy my first two recommendations and let me know what you think.

RomanceSo I've been on this site for a while and have finally decided to upload something; thought I should start easy and post an instalment of my favourite stories on Wattpad- as the title insinuates it's only some, as I, unfortunately, have not (yet) ha...
