4 | gingerbread house

"Wasn't ice skating fun?" Baekhyun asked. Chanyeol looked at him and nodded his head.

"It was, not gonna lie," Chanyeol said.

"You know what we should do!" Baekhyun said. There was still a bit of light outside.

"Come on let's go!" Baekhyun said as he grabbed Chanyeol's hand and dragged him to the car.

"Where are we going? And you're driving," Chanyeol said. They both got inside the car. Baekhyun taking the driver's seat.

"We're going to the store," Baekhyun smiled. Chanyeol raised an eyebrow.

"Why?" Chanyeol asked.

"Because we have to go buy a gingerbread house," Baekhyun smiled. Chanyeol sighed and shook his head.

"Why are you always trying to do something?" Chanyeol asked.

"Because I'm tired of seeing you always working," Baekhyun said.

"Well I want to pass my classes," Chanyeol said. Baekhyun nodded his head.

"I know but you're always working never taking a break," Baekhyun sighed. Chanyeol looked at Baekhyun.

The way he still looked at the road but had a sad face on. He felt bad because he's always paying attention to work and always ignoring his boyfriend.

"Hey. At least I'm doing this for you. If I really didn't pay attention to you then I would have never gone ice skating with you or even make snow angels," Chanyeol said looking at Baekhyun.

A small smile appeared on Baekhyun's face making Chanyeol feel better about himself. He never wanted to make Baekhyun sad.

"I love you," Baekhyun said.

"I love you too," Chanyeol said.

They finally arrived at the grocery store. Baekhyun told Chanyeol to stay inside the car while he went inside to buy the gingerbread house so that it would be faster.

Chanyeol sat there thinking to himself. How bad he felt about no wanting to go on small dates with Baekhyun.

Eventually Baekhyun came back with a bag in his hand.

"I got the gingerbread house!" Baekhyun said excitedly. That's what Chanyeol wanted to see from Baekhyun. A happy excited smile.

They drove back to the house. They both entered the house. Baekhyun quickly took off his jacket and shoes and went to the kitchen.

Chanyeol laughed at how quick Baekhyun was being. He followed him into the kitchen and sees Baekhyun already trying to open the gingerbread house.

"Need any help?" Chanyeol asked. Baekhyun looked up and nodded his head. Chanyeol giggled and walked right next to Baekhyun.

Chanyeol opened up the box and all the pieces for the gingerbread house.

"Alright! Let's start decorating the house!" Baekhyun said happily. Chanyeol looked at him and laughed.

"We have to set up the gingerbread house first," Chanyeol laughed. Baekhyun made an 'oh' face.

They set up the gingerbread house with the white frosting that was in the box.

"Now we start decorating them," Baekhyun said looking at Chanyeol. He nodded his head.

They started to decorate the house with all the gummies and colored frosting the box included. The gingerbread house was eventually done.

"It looks good," Chanyeol smiled. He looked over at Baekhyun adding finishing touches to the house.

"Now it's perfect," Baekhyun said. He looked at Chanyeol. He gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"You're adorable," Chanyeol smiled.
