8 | board games

Like always Chanyeol was on his laptop finishing his work. Baekhyun had gone out and went to get some few groceries.

Chanyeol heard the door open and quickly looked up. He saw Baekhyun with three bags in his hands.

"I thought you were only going to get about 6 small things? Why three bags," Chanyeol asked.

"I bought board games," Baekhyun simply said.

"You wanna play board games?" Chanyeol asked. Baekhyun looked up and stared at him dead in the face.

"If I bought the board games. Clearly I want to play them with you," Baekhyun said.

"I don't you need you giving me sass," Chanyeol said as he looked back down at his laptop.

"Well I'm not the one who asked a dumb questions," Baekhyun replied back.

"There's no such thing as dumb questions," Chanyeol said still looking down at his computer.

"Well the person who asked the question is dumb," Baekhyun said as he placed down the bags on the table.

"I'm not dumb. It was just a question. Calm down love," Chanyeol said. Baekhyun looked at him clearly not looking at him and instead at his laptop.

"Whatever. I don't wanna play anymore," Baekhyun said as he walked towards their room and slammed the door. Chanyeol just sighed and put his hands on his face like he had done something bad.

"Why is he so sensitive sometimes," Chanyeol mumbled. He stood up and walked to their room. He could hear Baekhyun mumbling things and almost could also hear sniffling. Chanyeol shook his head.

He walked back to the table and grabbed the board game boxes. He looked at them and started to open them. They were Christmas themed. He picked one and took it to the living room and started to organize it as if they were going to play.

He then headed back to their room and opened the door. He sees Baekhyun sitting on the bed looking down at his hands. He turned his head to see Chanyeol.

"What do you want? You clearly don't wanna play a game with me," Baekhyun said. Chanyeol could hear all the voice cracks in his voice.

Chanyeol sat down right next to Baekhyun. He hugged him and rested his head on his shoulder. He tried to kiss him on the cheek but Baekhyun leaned away from him.

"Look. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset. I'm really sorry. Can you please forgive me," Chanyeol said. Baekhyun remained silent. "Do you wanna play a game?".

Baekhyun still remained quiet. Chanyeol then gave him a kiss on the cheek. He still didn't move. Chanyeol then kept kissing him until a small smile appeared on Baekhyun's face.

"I can see you smiling," Chanyeol said. Baekhyun softly giggled and then gave Chanyeol a kiss on the lips.

"Do you still want to play that game?" Chanyeol asked. Baekhyun softly nodded his head.

They stood up and walked to the living room. Baekhyun saw that one of the board games were already set and ready to play.

"You set up the game?" Baekhyun asked. Chanyeol nodded his head.

They both started to play the game. Baekhyun would pout whenever he lost and Chanyeol would purposely lose the next round so that Baekhyun could win.

They both laughed and had fun.
