Thursday at Glee club practice:

"OK guys, who wants to start things off today?" Will asked. "I'll go Mr. Schue." Madison said. "Go ahead." Will replied. Madison stood up. "Before I sing, I'd like to dedicate this song to my boyfriend Spencer." She said. Spencer smiled warmly back at her. With that, Madison began to sing:

I've got the world on a string
Sitting on a rainbow
Got the string around my finger
What a world, what a life, I'm in love

I've got a song that I sing
I can make the rain go
Anytime I move my finger
Lucky me, can't you see, I'm in love

Life is a beautiful thing
As long as, I hold the string
I'd be a silly so and so
If I should ever let it go

I got the world on a string
Sittin' on a rainbow
Got the string around my finger
What a world, what a life, I'm in love

Life is a beautiful thing
As long as I hang on to the string
I'd be a silly so and so
If I should ever let it go

I've got the world on a string
Sitting on a rainbow
Got that string around my finger
What a world
And this is the life
Hey now,
I'm so in love!!!

The Glee club applauded Madison's performance. "Great job." Spencer said embracing his girlfriend. "Thanks." Madison said embracing him back and smiling warmly back at him. "Great job Madison." Will said. "OK, who wants to go next?" "I'll go Mr. Schue." Mason said. "Go for it." Will replied. Mason stood up and began to sing:

Is it an earthquake or simply a shock?
Is it the good turtle soup or merely the mock?
Is it the cocktail, this feeling of joy?
Or is what i feel the real McCoy?

Is it for all time or simply a lark?
Is it Granada i see or only Asbury park?
Is it a fancy not worth thinking of?
Or is it at long last love?

Is it an earthquake, or simply a shock?
Is it the good turtle soup, or is it merely the mock?
Is it the whiskey, this feeling of joy?
Or is what i feel the real McCoy?

Is it for all time or simply a lark?
Is it Granada i see or only Asbury park?
Is it a fancy, not worth thinking of?
Or is it at long
Is this at long
At long last love?!!!

The Glee club applauded Mason's performance. "Nice job Mason. Looks like you've found your inner Frank Sinatra." Will said. "I've always liked his music." Mason replied chuckling. "Great job. OK, who wants to cap things off today?" Will asked. "I'll go Mr. Schue." Roderick said. "By all means." Will stated. "This is one of my favorites, and one of Frank Sinatra's all time best." Roderick stated. He then got up and began to sing:

That's life (that's life), that's what all the people say
You're ridin' high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June

I said that's life (that's life), and as funny as it may seem
Some people get their kicks stompin' on a dream
But I don't let it, let it get me down
'cause this fine old world, it keeps spinnin' around

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race

That's life (that's life), I tell you I can't deny it
I thought of quitting, baby, but my heart just ain't gonna buy it
And if I didn't think it was worth one single try
I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself layin' flat on my face
I just pick myself up and get back in the race

That's life (that's life), that's life and I can't deny it
Many times I thought of cuttin' out but my heart won't buy it
But if there's nothin' shakin' come this here July
I'm gonna roll myself up in a big ball a-and die

My, my!

"Yeah!" The Glee club applauded and cheered Roderick's performance. "Brilliant Roderick." Sam said. "Bravo!" Scott stated. "Nice job Roderick." Will stated. "Way to go." Spencer said as he and Roderick gave fist pounds to each other. With that, the bell rang. "Alright, that's enough for today. We have three people who still haven't gone yet. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Will stated.

Only one more day left in the week. What will the remaining members choose to sing?
