I knelt down next to her grave and moved the grass around it, I circled it about 10 times to make all the grass go down so you could see it more clearly. I set the flowers down. Even though I had never met her, I knew she was my angel. I came here every month, for as long as I could remember, but a lot just recently. { this was my favorite photo of her, she was holding little baby Ridge} I wished I had gotten to meet the person who gave me my best friend.

I would sit here for hours just talking into the sky like she could hear me, I'd lay on the ground, sometimes read books to her, talk about Stratton, point to clouds and laugh. Today, I had decided to tell her about the dreams, I sat next her to grave, and grabbed from grass fiddling with it around my finger, " So I've been having the same dream of the last time Stratton was here, he had gone to his house, and Fin told us", I looked down, " my only question is why? we didn't deserve that, why'd they have to leave, I don't understand..." I said my voice cracking a single tear had made its way down my left cheek, it was almost to the dip of my chin, when I wiped it away. I looked into the sky, the sunrise was just starting to come up. I sat there and leaned against the grave, I was in total "awe" of how beautiful nature really was. By now it to be at least 7, cause the sun was now up a little ways. I kissed the grave, "I'll see you later Mirah, I love you, bye-bye now", I had then gotten on the fence. I put my pinkies in my mouth and whistled, that started MJ a little, but i got her attention, " Come here girl", I said softly. She did as she was told. i climbed back onto her. "Hayah", I yelled at, she raced back to the barn very quickly. I sat up, lifted my head to the sky, closed my eyes, and just let the wind hit my face, and slide through my hair. I stayed that way, until I felt her let up a little bit, I opened my eyes, and we really close to the barn now. She stopped about 10 feet away from the fence to get a drink. I took that chance to get off of her, and pet her side. I walked back inside. Jumped the fence, and set my hat back on my head.

"There you are", Annamae said, which made me jump. She then started laughing.

"That's not even funny, you just scared the crap out of me", I said grabbing my chest, and bending down, to catch my breathe for a minute, " What do you want anyway?" I said with a bit of attitude, and reajusted my hat.

"Well for your information mom wanted me to come get you, someones here and they want to see you", she said, and left. 'Who the heck would be here this early? And why do they want to see me' I thought in my head. I ran into the house, on the opposite side, so no one would hear me. I took my boots off on the back porch cause they were dirty, and stinking. I opened the door just a little for me to get in and tiptoed, till I got to the living room, no one was there, I then heard my moms voice in the kitchen, laughing and having a good old time, I heard a males voice, it sounded so familiar but definitely older. I went to the doorway that seperated the two rooms, I looked, and couldn't stop my excitement, I bolted towards him and jumped into his arms.

I could feel him laugh, and he hugged me and spun me around, " How have you been Miss Bel", Fin asked, " it's good to see you too", he said setting me down. I was so happy I was crying, I hadn't seen them in 8 years, and haven't heard from him in 6. I missed him so much. He rocked us back and forth, and kissed me on the head. After a minute, I finally decided to let go.

"When? How? How long? Omg! I missed you", I said hugging him again, this time both Fin and my mother were laughing.

" Well how about you calm down a little, and I'll explain everything okay?" he asked. I just nodded my head. I got myself a drink. and sat down at the table. Fin sat down in between my mother and I, "You okay, now?" All i did was nod, and smile, " Okay, well I had called your mother a few days ago, while you girls were at school, and I wanted to come to surprise you", just then hands covered my eyes. There were so many emotions running through me. Fear. Happiness. Confusion. My heart was beating so fast. I heard a laugh, and then saw Ridge. I jumped at him too.

"Hi Little Maybelly", he said smiling and hugging me. These people were family, I didn't care. The parents were once again laughing.

" Okay, Ridge, I just calmed her down, now your gonna give her a heart attack", Fin said. Ridge let go of me, and mouthed a, 'sorry'. I laughed this time.

"Where's Stratton?" I asked hoping he would also be here.

"He's at school", Fin said, I instantly frowned, " Oh stop being sad, me and Ridge are here to take you to our house to surprise him, before he gets home, and also pack clothes, cause we're stealing you for a couple days".

My mouth fell open for a moment, then I was so excited. I had the biggest smile on my face, I could feel it.

I ran to my room, and packed as many clothes as possible, grabbed my to go bathroom bag, a couple hats, a second pair of boots, necklaces, a sundress, I opened my door, " Ridge, I need your help", I yelled. I heard hear him laughing as he made his way to my room.

"WOW, you've changed your room, a lot", he says looking at everything.

"Well duh, last time you were here was 8 years ago", i say dramatically. He came over to grab my bags, but before he did he pushed my hat down so i couldn't see. He grabbed my stuff, and was gone by the time I could see again.

A few moments later, my stuff was being packed into the back of the SUV, "Before we leave can i bring Ridge somewhere?" I asked looking at mom and Fin, " It wont be super long I swear". I say begging.

My mother looks to Fin, " That's all up to you, your the one taking her", she says, with a smirk. I look to Fin, i pucker out my lip. He sighs, and just nods, his head. I smile, and grab Ridge's shirt and yank him towards the barn.

We were almost to the horses, when he asks, " Hey, do you still have Dallas?"

"Are you that stupid, you really think I'm gonna get rid of him, hell no, never", I say as we stop at Dallas's pen. Ridge smiles, and starts patting him. I take Mj out with nothing on her.

Ridge grabs my arm, " Where's her sattle I'll get it for you?" I just start laughing.

"Oh sweet Ridge you've missed a lot", I say proceeding to exit the barn. I climb on the fence, and whistle to MJ, she comes to me, and i gracefully get on her. I turn around to see Ridge looking with an impressed look on his face, " Let's go", I say moving my head to the left, I don't let them catch up, before I say, "Hayah", and MJ bolted. I laughed mischievously. Getting further and further ahead of him. He finally caught up after a minute.

He yelled, "Where the hell are we even going?" He asked.

"I'm bringing you far out here, to kill you", I said laughing. He just sat there and shook his head. Within a few minutes we had made it to the fence. I got off MJ, and made my way to the other side of the fence, I turned around to see if he was following. He had gotten off of Dallas, and was tying him up to the fence, I took a few more steps till I was at his mothers grave. I looked back up, he looked down, and he looked sad for a moment," Oh Ridge I'm sorry I shouldn't have taken you out here", I say walking back towards the fence.

"No, Bel. It's okay really, I'm happy you brought me out here, i've missed her so much, he says leaning down and tracing her name, " how did you remember about this?" he asked.

"What do you mean remember, I never forgot, I've been out here, every month since you guys left, talking to your mom, telling her stuff, staring at the clouds, reading her books, star gazing, watching the sunrise, like I did this morning", I confess.

"No", he said with disbelief, " there's no way".

"Honest Ridge, I've been out here actually a lot lately, I've been having the same dream over and over again, of when your dad told me and Stratton that you guys were moving, it's more of nightmare than anything, I can't get it out of my head, then I saw your dad this morning and i was so excited, and happy, after I saw you, I was hoping Stratton was here as well, but I'm glad I get to go back with you guys. I miss him", My voice had cracking by the end, a few tears escaped my eyes.

" Oh Mabelly, don't cry everything is fine now, I swear, we're not going anywhere this time", He says as he embraces me into a hug.

I smiled, I was so happy.
