chapter twenty three - blue blood

Miyu skated as rain poured on her. It wasn't raining hard, which she was thankful for. As she stood on the train, grabbing on to the pole next to her she felt someone tug on her skirt. She looked down and saw a little boy. She smiled at him.

"I saw you on tv and you looked really cool," he said. Miyu's heart clenched. The sight before her was so heart warming.

"Thank you," she said as she patted his head.

"Hey you're the girl who got 2nd place in the sports festival,"

"What an amazing quirk,"

"You'll be an amazing hero,"

Soon enough everyone had recognized her. She was flattered and shocked. U.A really is going to change her life.

She had a big boost of happiness so she skated as fast as she could to school.

Meanwhile at school Mina couldn't stop herself from telling the whole class about Miyu's new hair.

Some believed it as other's didn't.

"Miyu doesn't look like the type to have super short hair," Ojiro said. Todoroki just looked at him then looked back at his desk. If only he knew.

The girls were all very excited. They couldn't take their eyes off the door. They were just waiting for Miyu to come and open the door.

Everyone waited for five minutes. Some were getting very impatient. For example,

"Come on Miyu! Hurry up!!" Ochako shouted. All the girls nodded in unison. As soon as she said the magic words someone slid the door open. She yawned as she did. She didn't get much sleep the night before.

"Morning," Miyu said. Everyone screamed. This defitnitely woke her up. Everyone went up to her and asked her a bunch of questions. Two times already.

She slowly walked out of the crowd surrounding her. She sat in her seat as the girls followed.

"Why did you do it?" Jirou asked. Miyu thought for a while. Why did she do it? Why did she cut her hair?

"I guess it was time for a change," she said while shrugging her shoulders. Tenya began yelling at everyone telling them to get to their seats. Soon Aizawa came in the class. His bangades were no longer covering his entire face meaning it had healed.

"Today we will be having a special hero informatics class." The air in the class got tense. Miyu stiffined. She gulped.

"Code names. Today you will be coming up with hero names," he said.

Miyu's face lightened up. She remembered growing up and saying random weird hero names.

"I will be blue sky,"

"I'll be a scary hero that makes all the bad guys scared of me. I will be burning bird,"

She smiled at the names. One thing was for sure. They all included blue. It was because it was her second favorite color. Red will always be her number one.

Blue reminded her of her quirk, her brothers, her mother. Blue was a color that was very special to her.

Aizama began talking about the offers. He then proceded to show us our offers.

#1 Miyu Kamihara : 5,001

Miyu felt very uneasy. Why so many offers? Out of all people, her? Why her? She wasn't special. Katsuki got first place he should have gotten more offers.

All eyes were on her. She felt herself shriking in her seat.

"Even if you have no offers you will be interning with a hero," Aizawa said.

"These names are only temporary, but if you don't choose wisely-"

"You'll have hell to pay!" Someone said as they slid the door open. It was the pro hero Midnight.

Miyu questioned herself a lot everytime she saw Midnight.

"Midnight will be here to make sure your names are okay," Aizawa said. He proceeded to take out his banana sleeping bag.

Miyu thought hard as she passed the boards to Midoriya who was behind her. She wanted to include blue at all cost.

"Blue clouds? That makes no sense. Blue smoke. But my quirk is ash."

She thought it was so easy back then. Why was it so hard now?

As time past everyone started to present theirs. Some were basic. Some used their own names. And some were over kill.

"I will be King Explosion Murder!" Bakugo said. Miyu sweat dropped. She wasn't saying it was unexpected though.

"Big brother what would your hero name be?" Young Miyu asked her older brother.

"Hmm, i've thought about it for a while. I think i'll be blue burn," he said.

"That sound kinda weird Mamiko-nii,"

Blue Burn huh? Warm blue? Her eyes sparkled. She wrote down her hero name.

Miyu raised her hand to present hers.

"Mamiko-nii i think i know mine," Miyu said. He looked her in curiosity.

"My hero name is, Blue Blood,"

"How come?"

"I chose this name because the color blue runs in my family. My mother had blue eyes, my older brother had a blue eye, our quirk is blue flames. Blue blood means blue runs in my blood,"

Her brother smiled.

"Very interesting Miyu. Well, then nice to meet you Blue Blood,"
