"Good morning hun." Her mom said as Katelyn walked down the sickening spiral staircase she had begged her mother not to buy. "Hey... I'm not super hungry. I'm gonna walk to school this morning, ya know. Its late." Kate said before her mom could respond and rushed out the door.

She huffed and puffed as she walked into the classroom, 15 minutes late. "Goodmorning Miss O'herren..." Mr.Klein, the art teacher singsonged. He was 21 and alright looking, lots of girls drooled over him, most 17, not 18.

"Oh.. Heh hello Mr.Klein, listen I wasn't up and ready. I missed the bus. I'm SO sorry." Katelyn whispered and sat down in her seat. "It better not happen again, and call me Mr.James." He shook his head. She then sat down, got out her iPod and put in her earbuds, and got out her drawing folder.

Devon then walked into class with a proud stride, a big dragon tattoo planted on his arm. Everyone gaped and stared at his desk as he sat down, got out his stuff, and acted like nothing happened. "Like your.. Tattoo." Katelyn whispered and giggled at his cocky grin.

"Thanks.. Turned 18 yesterday." Devon winked and Katelyn giggled as he turned his attention to Mr.Kleins studies. "So Devon, care to explain the elephant in the room?" Mr.Klein cleared his throat "Well, Ol' Mr.Klein, I got one year older."

He shook his head and started talking as Devon shook Katelyns shoulders. "Y'know... This is great. I'm a year older, I see you everyday, and Mr.Klein is going easy on me!" He said patting himself on the back and giving Katelyn a big thumbs up as she turned to his board.
