"I'm going fucking crazy. There's absolutely no way you just did that. There's no way a demon is in Mani's body and there's no way that Dinah's still alive but technically not alive. Like what the fuck? I can't....this...I....what?" Lauren rambled as she paced back and forth in the small room of the hospital.

She just watched Kehlani basically suck the evil out of her bestfriend but it wasn't enough to save her and now a possibly evil entity that wants to cause harm is in her body. So where the hell was Mani's spirit? Or soul....or whatever the fuck it is? Is she with Dinah? Is she dead but.....not dead....kinda like Dinah? Is this a joke? It has to be.

"Lauren calm do-"

"Do not tell me to fucking calm down!" Lauren interrupted her. "Don't you dare tell me to calm down. Not after this shit." She gestured around the room with her hand.

"I can explain everything but you have to calm down." Kehlani calmly spoke as she stood to her feet again.

Lauren looked as if she could pass out any second now.

"Hey, look at me." Kehlani spoke softly as she held Lauren's face in her hands, willing her to look into her eyes. "Just breathe. You're okay, you're fine." She tucked a strand of hair behind Lauren's ear, a flicker of gold sizzled on the tips of Kehlani's fingers and spread throughout Lauren's hair, down to her feet, the magic willing her to calm down on cue.

"There, see? That's much better." She smiled softly at the green-eyed girl before her.

Lauren took a deep breath. "Yeah, that's better. How'd you do that?" She asked.

Kehlani stepped away from her, dropping her hands to her sides again. "I know this is a lot for you to take in and what I'm about to tell you will only add to the confusion." She walked over to the rolling chair and took a seat in it.

Lauren sat in the chair in the corner of the room as she waited patiently for an explanation.

"I'm a....I'm a witch, Laur." Kehlani whispered.

Lauren stared at her for a moment before throwing her head back in laughter as she slapped her thigh as if Kehlani had told the funniest joke of the century. "A witch? Oh my god." She spoke through laughter.

Kehlani watched with a serious expression on her face.

"Oh shit." Lauren gasped as she held her chest in pain from laughing so hard. "That was hilarious. You're a witch, ha." She cackled once more before ceasing mid-laugh and staring over at Normani's (now sleeping from the medicine despite the demon inside of her) frame then back to Kehlani. "You're serious?" She asked with a furrowed brow.

Kehlani nodded before holding out her hand. Lauren watched as a swirl of gold fluttered from Kehlani's palm. She watched as her lips moved ever so slightly as she whispered out words and the gold intensified and spread out in swirls across the room.

"Holy shit." Lauren gawked in awe as she gazed at the soft golden specks fluttering around them. It was so beautiful.

Kehlani snapped her fingers and everything ceased. A moment later, she raised her palm into the air and Lauren screeched as her own chair was lifted into the air as well.

"Oh shit! I belong on the ground. Put me on the ground!" She yelled as she gripped the edges of her seat tightly.

Kehlani chuckled as she slowly lowered the chair to the ground again using her hand and Lauren released a deep breathe.

"Okay, I believe you." Lauren gasped in fear as she prayed that Kehlani wouldn't do that again.

Kehlani smiled brightly at her with a small nod. "Thanks. Oh, by the way.....you can't tell anyone." She stated.
