“I heard you went to check on the were baby“ Felix said, sitting on my char, his feet crossed on my desk. His sandy colored hair falling into his auburn eyes.
“Yes. I admired his mother. Monty. Shes been through hell and yet she is still... “ I searched for the word “stable“ I said slowly, testing the word. I shrugged, thinking it was good enough.
“do you think we are ever going to have future trouble with them“ he asked, tossing a solid metal ball up and catching it in his hands, seemingly interested in the conversation.I leaned against the desk, crossing my arms over my chest. “Monty is the first ever werecat while her son is the first full werecat ever. The first I ever seen“ Felix tensed at my words, clutching the ball in his fist.
“never?“ he catches my eye.
“never“
“you know what the means right? We know nothing about what that baby is capable off“ he warned.
“I never sensed anything evil from him, hes going to be mysterious but wise beyond his years“ as soon as I said it I winced, not liking the awe tone of my voice.
“you like them don't you?“
"They might prove useful in the future, that is all" I dismissed the thought. Liking them would complicate my plans for them. Make it harder for what I had to do.
"Diablo, the father is still being debriefed." by debriefed he meant telopaths going threw his memory and specialists opening him up and experimenting on him, trying to figure out how he turned a female and impregnated her.
"After I expect his memory to be wiped and then sent back to his world." I said, chewing on my thumbnail, not liking the thought of sending a man like Diablo back into the world. But it cannot be helped. He still played an important role in Monty and Loki's life's and if I kill him now Monty would never get the closer she needed to move on with her life. Knowing the outcome of everyone's actions were hard. Sometimes doing the right thing could go against your morals. I guess that's why I'm grumpy most of the time. That and lack of sleep. And lack of alone time...
Felix pressed his thin lips together, taking his feet off the desk. "I suppose you should be getting back home" he mumbled, his eyes scanning the clock on my desk. Nine thirty, already past my curfew.
"Do you know how annoying it is to be treated like a typical teenager?" I exaggerated.
"Well you do act like one most of the time" He said seriously but anyone that knew him would know that he was just trying to get under my skin.
I snapped my fingers, blue fire rise from my index finger. I blew on the flame, making it blast an inch from Felix's face, making he jerk back into the chair with so much force that the chair toppled over with him still in it. I laughed, shaking my hand to extinguish the flame.
"Not funny! You could have killed me!" he screeched in a girly high voice, trying to get up but seemed to be stuck in the chair.
I turned and walked away, turning back to see him looking at me fiercely. I winked, opening the door and concentrate on the picture of home.
Trees covered my appearance and I knocked on the tree beside me. A face appeared in the bark of the tree, in level with mine.
"Nothing as happened, no supernaturals have passed the boundary, as pure usual" He said with a irritated voice, and I gave him a hard look, trying not to look at the moss in his eyelid. This was a nymph who refused to leave his tree, made him grumpy but he was a coward. To afraid of what might happen if he leaves his tree.
"Calm down you grumpy old man" I mumbled, not in the mood to be snapped at. Most creatures treat me with respect and bow, even shake with fear in my company but nymph's, the annoying little fuckers, didn't believe in bowing down to anyone, even if I could kill them with my pinkie. But they were loyal creatures, they would sooner die then disobey me. Out of love apparently.
"I wouldn't be so grumpy if you gave me some fertilizer sometime" He snapped.
"Go back to sleep" I grumbled, then walked out of the trees, a small white house appearing. My mother had a habit of moving every year or so. We now lived in a small house, just out side of town. My mom says its because its cheaper but I think she just needs a change of view every now and then. Restless when in the same place for so long.
I went inside, seeing my mother propped up on the couch with a steamy romance novel in her hand. She looked up at me threw her glasses.
"Your late. Again" she mumbled.
"Sorry, after studying the guys and me got busy with a game of air hockey at Julian's place" I said, using my usual excuse, blaming it all on my human best friend Julian.
"you should know better" my mom mumbled, looking back down at her book and got caught up in it again. I used to like books. Till I was thirteen. Some books are written by seers, without them knowing. Seers are people that can see into a persons life, learn everything about them. So its not unusual that a seer would be a writer. But it was dangerous for me since when I read a book and find out that I had lived that life, I get sucked into it, feeling everything from that life until Rob has to inject me with a sky metal.
I should my head, and went into my room, shutting the door quietly and plopped on my bed. Nothing could kill me, nothing could hurt me except a extremely rare sky-metal made from the Zeus himself. I joked as if it was my kyptonite but it still gave me the willy's. I had a small amount of sky metal in me right now, to keep my powers balanced and weakened. Rob even puts a sky metal in his relaxer just so he could put the needle in my skin. Yes, my serem is made of sky metal. I already explained some of this earlier.
My life was extremely weird. I was slowly going to sleep, my thoughts drifting to school. My eyes shot open in panic.
OH SHIT! I have a chemistry test tomorrow!
