I look over and see the person in the bed with me. And I look up at the ceiling, and close my eyes. I feel Alex move, and I look over at him again.

“Good morning, Beautiful.” Alex said half awake.

“Good morning.” I said with a weary smile, as I threw the blankets off myself.  And I put my clothes back on.

“Where are you going?” Alex asked me.

“I’m going to go make breakfast.” I replied, raising an eyebrow. And I smiled as I left the room.

I walk into the kitchen, and take out the ingredients.  I start humming to myself, which soon, upgraded to a quiet singing.

“True friends lie underneath,

these witty words I don't believe

I can't believe a damn thing they say, anymore

lie! Liar you'll pay for your sins

now! Liar I know all the places you've been

So tell me how does it feel,

how does it feel to be like you?

I think your mouth should be quiet

because it never tells the truth

so tell me, so tell me why,

why does it have to be this way?

Why can't things ever change?”

I quietly sing to myself. Suddenly someone puts their arms around my stomach. And I swing, hitting Alex in the face, with the frying pan; I had gotten out just minutes before. I look at Alex, and start freaking out, as he is lying on the ground.  I lean over his body, and shake his body.

“ALEX?” I screamed. I got up and grabbed a cup of water, and threw it on him.

He starts moving, and I lean over his body again. “You’ve got a good arm.” He replies wearily. He opens his eyes, and grabs my shoulders, pulling me down, and softly kissing my lips. I melt into his arms, as he wraps them around me.

I lean back and look at him.  He smiles at me, and I smirk, and stand up extending a hand to him. He grabs it, and I pull him up.

“Sorry, I didn’t know who you were.  I thought you were still in the bedroom.” I said anxiously, as he grabbed me, kissing me again, but a little harder.

“That was a good way of shutting me up.” I said as I smiled.

“Well, I was happy to oblige.” He smirked.

I turned around and picked the pan up off the floor, where I dropped it, after hitting him.

I smiled again, and turned to the stove, and cracked an egg and lets it hangover the pan.  I watch it as it sizzles, and pop. The yolk turned white, and reminded me of the secret I had.

I had decided that I was going to tell him. I was going to take him to a beach, and put out a nice picnic. I watched him eat, his muscular jaws, chewing the food, every time he went to bite, the stuck out.  I smiled as I watched him.

“So, I wanted to take you somewhere.” I told him as he finished eating. He looked at me with a tilted head. I smiled, as he smiled, and his deep dimples showed.

“Where’s that?” He asked, confused. I looked at him, and smiled again. It seems every time I look at him, I start smiling like a freaking ninny.

“It’s a surprise.” I told him, as I got the car keys and walked out the door. And I heard him shut the door, and heard the car door, and looked in, to see him sitting there.

“Let’s go.” I said as I hopped in the car, and drove off to the beach.

We drove up to the beach, and I looked at the shore, the white water, tiding, and residing. The waves, crashing against the shore, making the sand quiver, and the sand turning white, and brown. I looked over that Alex, and smiled. He looked at me and got out. And I started walking to the water’s edge, and looked at the sun rising. I smiled as Alex walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach. I turned around, and looked at him. I was getting the nerve to tell him, when suddenly he kissed me hard. And looked into my eyes. And said 3 words that I thought I would never hear someone say to me.

“I love you.” He whispered. And I started tearing up, and started letting the tears fall. And I whispered back 3 words I thought I would never be able to say to someone.

“I-I love you too.” I told him smiling. And then I looked down remembering that I needed to tell him my secret.  “Alex, I need to tell you something.” I told him taking off my shirt, and revealing a white kind of bra like shirt. I flexed my back, and pure white angel wings, unfold. And the look on his face wasn’t what I expected.

“I am an angel.” I said, as fear washed over me. Afraid of what he might say.
