I look up at Rose with wide eyes. “Do you know what this means?” I asked her waving it front of her face. I look at her and see her face, light up. “What are you thinking, in that devious mind of yours?” I asked her wanting to know what she was thinking. “I know exactly how to celebrate.” She gave me a menacing look. “Oh, how’s that?” I asked her already knowing what she’d say. “There’s a party at my friend Rob’s house. Want to go?” she asked me with a curious look on her face. “Yeah…Wait. Is this the “Rob” from high school?” I asked her raising my eyebrow. “Yep” she said, elbowing me. “Ouch. Yeah we can go but I still need to go and get my hand checked out.” I told her pointing to my hand. “Of course, the party isn’t until 8 o’clock and its only 9 o’clock in the morning.” She reassured me. “Okay we’ll go and have an awesome time.” I told her. I was glad that we were going to the party; it’s something to get my mind off my mom.

We arrived at the hospital and I got out, and headed to the door. I walk in and I see pregnant women, sickly women, and a person who has a bone sticking out of his arm. I walk up to the counter and tell them that I may need stitches. “Okay can you please enter through that blue door? And sit down in the waiting room.” The receptionist asked me. “Noah Colon!” The doctor called. I got up and started walking, and then a hand touched my shoulder, and then what felt like nails digging into my skin. I turn around to see Rob looking at me. “Hey Noah, remember me?” he asked me. “Yes, I remember you, listen I got to go, I will see you at the party tonight.” I told him, and then followed the doctor. We got to a room, and he asked me to sit down. “Am I going to need stitches?” I asked him half hoping that I wouldn’t need them. “Well, I don’t know yet, am I allowed to unwrap your hand, or do you want to?” he asked me, looking at me and then looking down at my hand. “I think I can do it.” I replied, starting to unwrap it. As soon as I unwrapped it, I threw the bloody wrap away, and I look at my bloody hand. "well your not going to need stitches just need to keep it wrapped up and keep it clean." the doctor told me. "Well, thats good, am I free to go?" I asked him with pleading eyes. "Yes your free to go. Please go see the receptionist, and she will see you out." He told me. "I know, I have been here once or twice before." I reassured him. " I go out into the waiting room and see Rose looking at me with excitement in her eyes. "Geez, your finally out, I have been waiting for like an hour." She said, already trying to pull me out of the hospital door. "I have to go shopping" I told her. "Okay, lets go, we are going to make sure you look sexy." She told me with that sparle in her eye, that told me she is fixing to do a Rose make-over on me. I mean I wouldn't mind getting a make-over, shes very pretty. "Okay lets go then."
