He looked at me, and went to touch them, but I stepped back, and shook my head.

“Don’t touch them, please.”  I advised him. He looked at me, and he opened his mouth, but turned around and lowered his head.

I went up to touch his back, but he jerked away, and looked at me. I looked up at him, and he said something, that washed fear over me.

“I have a secret too.” He said, looking at me. I looked at the sky, and then back at him.

I watched him as he took his shirt off, and blood red wings, unfolded from his back, and I watched in horror. He’s a demon, I thought to myself. I’m in love with a demon.   I looked at him, and backed away.  He held a hand out, and looked at me with silence.

“I can’t…I mean…I’m an angel.” I looked down, and then before I knew it, I was running from him. And soon started moving my wings, and took flight in the sky. I soared through that clouds, and looked down and watched him until I couldn’t see him anymore. And I started crying, and felt something in my wings, that wasn’t there before. A burning sensation, so I flew up to heaven, and stood at the golden gates. I watched for God, and saw the Security Angel, standing at the gates.  I looked at him, and he winked and me, and I rolled my eyes.  He opened the gates, and I walked in, and smiled, as I saw all the white and pureness around me.

I see God everywhere, and I talk to him, hoping he can hear me.

“I have made a mistake.” I confessed to God.

“My dear Noah, what has happened?” God asked me.

“I have fallen for a demon, an apprentice of the Devil.” I replied anxiously.

“Oh. Well this is not a good situation, have you given yourself up to him?” He quietly talked at me.

“Yes, Lord.”  I looked down, and said the Lord’s Prayer, as I looked back up.

“There is a burning sensation in my wings.” I told him, as my wings, started unfolding.

“Your wings are slowly dying away.” He told me, looking sadly at me. “Your days of an angel are over, and you will become a demon, with time.”

I looked down, and looked at my halo, that appeared when I walked through the Golden Gates.

“I will be a Demon? Is there any way to stop it?” I asked frantically.

“No, I’m sorry. Noah, you’ll be soon a Demon, and will not be able to come back to heaven unless you can bring me the Devil’s Horn.” He looked at me, and I knew he was disappointed.

“So if I can bring you the Devil’s horn then, I can stay an angel? And how can I make my boyfriend an angel?” I asked him, looking at him with contemplating eyes.

“He has to be willing to die again. And he has to prove that he loves you and only you.” He again looked at the sun. And then he disappeared.

I looked at the golden gates, not knowing if this was going to be the last time I walked through the golden, carefully carved, gates. I took one step, and became unaware of where I was. I knew that this is probably going to be the last time that I see God, the Golden Gates, the angel wings, the halo, the creepy security angel, and the fluffy white clouds that shined pink, in the morning.

I walked out of the gates, hearing them gently slam behind me. And a tear fell to the cloud, and I spread my wings, which were no longer pure white, but tinted with a shade of red. And I realized that I didn’t have as long as I thought.  I have at least a month, before I forever become a demon. I looked down, and spread my wings, and took off, and looking behind me, for what maybe the last time.
