Caden's eyes flashed with small bits of anger. "I didn't expect you to be here this early..." He told him, trying to cover the sleeping Redina with his body.

Mark chuckled. "Eh, it's not that early anyways, and who's that..?" He questioned.

Caden panicked. What would he say? 'I would tell him this was Mella, but they don't look alike...' His tail flicked. He growled and leaped on top of Mark, his teeth bared. "I fucking swear to the desperate gods above, if you tell anyone, you will suffer the wrath of your own brother..." He grumbled. He felt so embarrassed as he said that.

Mark kicked him off. "Alrighty, just shut up..." He told him. "Who is that anyway...?"

Redina had awaken, her tail flicked. "Um... I'm Mella's s-sister, Redina..." She said timidly.

"Ah, right. I didn't know Mella had a sister..." Mark's ear flicked. "Well..." He looked up at the sky. "You might as well take her back to her den, Mella will find out she's gone sooner or later."

Caden's eyes widened in realization. "Shit, he's right! I do gotta get you back before Mella's awake." He hurried out of the den. "Well, c'mon, I gotta get you back!" He beckoned for Redina to follow.

Redina scurried out of the guys' den. She quickly followed Caden and caught up with his pace. "I bet I can beat you back...!" She ran out across the grass.

"I bet you can't!" Caden yelled back. He quickened his pace to pass Redina. "Haha!" He laughed triumphantly. And just like that, they were at their den.

Redina caught up with Caden. "Damn, I can't run as fast as you." She whispered. "Well..." She stretched up and kissed Caden. "I gotta go, bye. Love you." She walked back.

He blushed as he told her in a hushed voice. "Love you too." He grinned and walked back to his and Mark's den. Once he was there, he took a few glances at Mark. "...What?" He asked.

Mark giggled a little. "I didn't expect you to be such a ladies man..." He paused. "I mean, you have Mella and Redina."

Caden's tail flicked back and forth. "Well... About Mella..." He shifted his weight back and forth on his paws. "I don't love her anymore, Redina's perfect for me..."

His brother tilted his head in confusion. "So you're kinda cheating on her...?" He questioned, hoping he'd answer.

He sighed. "No... Maybe." He felt his eyes flicker with different emotions. "I don't know, it's complicated..."

Mark laughed. "It's fine dude, atleast you've got a girl..." He grumbled. "My flirting game isn't that strong..." He told his older brother.

"That's ok bro, atleast you're not stuck between breaking someone's heart or being with the wolf you love..." He paused. "My life's pretty complicated too..."

Mark nodded. "Women, they're so complicated..."

All Caden's answer was a grunt.

"Would you be mad if I spilled your secret..." Mark asked him.

Caden looked at him and scoffed. "No. I'd totally just be fine with you just blabbing out my secret..." He sarcastically grumbled.

Mark looked away. "I'll take that as a no..." He felt his tail swish back and forth.

"So, what were you doing while you were out?" Caden didn't feel too happy about the conversation, so he changed the subject.

Mark shrugged. "Nothing really, I was only just walking around... Talking to Mella..."

His older brother whipped his head to face his younger brother. "You were- what?!" He sighed. 'My brother can NOT think for shit.'

"Yes, I admit it. I was with Mella." Mark felt defeated.

Caden growled. "No wonder it was so quiet, Mella snores..." He shook his head. "So if you took Mella out before I took Redina out... That means Mella knows I took Redina!" He stomped angrily at Mark. "Goddammit sometimes you can't fucking think!" He snapped.

"Hey..." Mark felt bad after what he did. "Mella told me she really likes you... A little too much..." He took a breath. "To the point were she wants to..."

"Fuck that." Caden sounded disgusted. "I would never." He told his brother. "Well, I'm pretty burnt, and I wanna forget what happened tonight..." He walked to were he slept. "G'night..." He flopped down and closed his eyes, but didn't sleep yet.

Mark sighed as he padded to were he slept and fell asleep.

Caden was still awake, but he didn't know why. His inner voice rang.  'Dude, we know your brother's not that bright. But you can deal with Mark later. Right now, you need to focus on what Mella's reaction will be...' He tossed and turned. What would Mella's reaction be? I mean, he didn't care anyway. Caden loved Redina, not Mella, and it'll stay like that.
