When love runs high
And this time, give it to me easy
And let me try with pleasured hands"

*Jimmy celebrates his birthday with Hailey, only to get another special "present" afterwards.*

January, 1976, Plumpton Place

The sunlight of the morning awoke Hailey. Jimmy was still asleep, though, his arms around Hailey. Hailey tried to remember what day it was (as she tended to forget when she woke up), before remembering it was January 9th.

Jimmy's birthday.

A smile formed on Hailey's face. Yesterday, she had spent a long time getting things for Jimmy, and had wrapped the presents, hiding them so Jimmy couldn't find them. They were well-hidden too, and only Hailey knew and remembered where they were.

Quietly, Hailey got out of bed and changed out of her pajamas into some casual clothes before going over to wake up Jimmy.

"Guess what day it is, birthday boy."

Jimmy's eyes slowly opened and he looked up at Hailey.

"What?" He asked, seemingly confused.

"It's January 9th." Hailey explained. "That's your birthday, isn't it?"

Jimmy's eyes widened. "Wait, really?"

Hailey nodded.

Jimmy was definitely in shock.

"Oh my God," He murmured to himself. "It's my birthday."

Hailey tried not to laugh at Jimmy's reaction. "Well, you have to get dressed into something before you can get any presents."

"But I am dressed."

"Change into something else besides pajamas." Hailey said, smiling.

Jimmy sighed. "Oh, come on." He muttered.

Hailey giggled. "Sorry, dude." She said. "Just trying to build up anticipation."

"Well, it's working." Jimmy said, smiling slightly.

Good, he's not actually mad at me.

Once Jimmy changed into a grey long-sleeve shirt and black trousers, he headed out of the bedroom and into the living room, where Hailey was sitting on the couch, wrapped presents next to her.

"There you are." Hailey said, smiling.

Jimmy didn't answer and went to get a bottle of Jack Daniels, before heading back over to the couch. "Well, let's see..." He said, looking at the wrapped boxes. He sat by the presents and started with the first present, proceeding to unwrap it.

"Holy shit..." Jimmy said as he looked at what he had unwrapped. "Oh my God, are these vinyls?" He asked, looking at Hailey with a look of surprisement and happiness.

Hailey nodded.

"I fucking love vinyls!" Jimmy exclaimed. "I try to collect as many as I can."

Jimmy looked at the vinyls. "My favorite blues artists, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd..." He said to himself. "Cream, the Who, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull!"

At this point, Jimmy looked like a happy child, and a very happy one. He looked at Hailey again. "This is fucking amazing!" He said.

Hailey handed Jimmy the next present, which turned out to be different kinds of fabric for Jimmy's clothes-making. Jimmy's smile returned as he looked at the fabric. "I remember going shopping with Brian Jones in the 60's, when I was still in the Yardbirds." Jimmy said. "We would buy fabric for clothes. Can't believe he's dead."
