Nine

The next day on the way to the orphanage again....

Namjoon pov:

"Do you have the gift?"
'Yes'
"Is-"
'Jin calm down, everything is gonna turn out fine'

"I'm so nervous, I just hope he likes us"

'He seemed like he did yesterday'

We finally arrive at the orphanage and go inside, we see there is hoseok ready with his things standing quietly next to the lady...he looks a little different from yesterday.

The lady tells us we have a few more documents to sign.

After that, we leave with hoseok.

He seems a little quiet, I look at Jin, it looks like he's thinking the same thing.

We get in the car.

I break the silence.

'Is something wrong?'

I hear hoseok mumble quietly

Me and Jin both turn around

'I didn't hear you well, what did you say?'

"I-I'm not supposed to t-tell you or I'll g-get in trouble a-and you won't like me anymore"

He starts crying.

'You can tell us anything we won't hate you, but we can't help you if you don't tell us what's wrong.'

"I'm scared to laugh o-or t-talk to loud, I'm going to annoy you and you're going to send me back to the orphanage just like the rest"

I look at Jin.

Jin pov:

I get out of the front seat and go sit in the back next to him.

"Are you going to sent me back??? Please don't I beg you they'll put me in that dark room again, please don't, I'll be quiet I won't talk again I promise, please!"

'Calm down, breathe we aren't sending you back, let me tell you a secret, we are just as nervous as you are, this is our first time having a child and we don't know what to do. And let me tell you this, do you know why we picked you? It's because you were so bright and bubbly, you seemed to love to talk and that's why we chose you. Don't let what those mean people said get to you, you are perfect just be yourself, ok?'

He nodded
I wiped his tears with a tissue.
'Alrighty then! Who wants ice cream?'
"Me!"
"Me!"
'Ok then let's go!'

At the ice cream shop.

'Alright boys here's the plan, first we are going to go to the furniture store and hoseok you'll be picking out whatever decorations you want for your room, then we'll be going to dinner with my parents because they want to meet you hoseok, got it?'

Namjoon and hoseok were stuffing their face with ice cream.

'Got it?'

They just nodded.
