THEY CONTINUED TO move forward after Malia's confession, and the were-coyote continued from where she left off on the flirting. She might not know Hope much, not yet anyway, but she definitely loved her smile. It lit up any room she was in, or well, bottomless pit.

"You know what?" Hope suddenly asked as she walked along side Malia, Clarke being the one in the lead this time. "You honestly remind me so much of my best friend Lizzie."

Malia rose an eyebrow. "I hope that a compliment."

Hope chuckled. "Most definitely." She nodded and continued, "she seems and looks like a bitch when you first meet her, but she's actually really sensitive and smart, and just a really great person."

Malia frowned. "That doesn't sound like me at all." She laughed as Hope pushed her slightly.

Clarke glanced back at them, scowling. He clenched his jaw even more as he has seen Hope smile more with Malia than with him. His heart clenched at the sight of his tribrid leaning on the were-coyote. Scoffing, he shook his head, and focused on where he was going.

"No, but Lizzie is... unique and even though, yes, she struggles a lot, she tries to do better. She's a bitch with a good heart. And you remind me a lot of her." Hope glanced down at the ground and frowned, picturing the blonde who was probably happier without her due to them not liking each other for most of their lives. But, if it wasn't for Josie, her and the blonde would've been friends long ago.

Malia recognized the look and grabbed the tribrids hand. "Hey, it's going to be okay. Like you said, we're going to get out of here, and then we'll figure out how to get everyone to remember, and then you'll have your friends and family back. Me, on the other hand, I have no one that will remember me. I'm the forgotten one."

"I will be your new family, Malia. I know I'm not a great substitute, but I will always be there for you," Hope admitted, pulling the younger girl into another hug. "And trust me, everyone will love you at the Salvatore School which is pretty much like Hogwarts."

Malia chuckled as she pulled back, wiping away her tears. "Is that why you laughed at he Harry Potter flirt?"

Hope nodded her head head, chuckling. "Alaric always jokes that the school is Hogwarts, just better. He literally makes a reference every time a new student shows up, so don't be surprised if he does for to you."

Clarke was so close to blowing up at this point, not only was Hope reciprocating the flirting at this point, but she was saying the same thing she had told him days ago; that she'll be his family. If anything, she sounded like Arya Stark from Game a Thrones, talking Gendry that she'll be his family. He shook his head and scoffed at that thought.

Why is he angry anyway? There is no point in being angry. After all, Malia was a sixteen year old with no family, and no one to care about her. He has no right to be angry or jealous that Hope is giving her attention. So, why is he?

Malia bit her lip as she tilted her head at Hope. "Can you tell me more about all your friends?"

Hope nodded. "Of course."

IT WAS A few hours later, and Hope has pretty much told everything she could about all her friends, especially about Lizzie. She really wanted them to get to know each other so badly, and Malia couldn't help but think that her and Lizzie would be cute together.

Now, they were all feeling a little tired, so they decided that they would be build a small fire, and go to sleep.

So, when Hope went on her own to gather some fire wood, Malia turned to Clarke with a mischievous smirk on her features, her arms crossed as she circled around him.

Clarke frowned as he watched her movements. "What now?" He asked, getting suspicious of her actions now.

"I don't mean anything by it," she admitted and he furrowed his brows, confused. "The flirting, I mean," she stated with a grin. "Although Hope is a beautiful... and I mean beautiful, girl, she isn't exactly my type."

Clarke simply rose a brow at that. "She's everyone's type," he retorted and then froze as he realized the words that left his mouth.

Malia chuckled at that. "She definitely is. I mean, she has the looks, the body, the personality, and have you seen that smile?" She smirked as she heard him let out an audible growl. "Down, boy," she teased. "She is all that and more, but I don't see myself with her. Plus, I know that you have some weird claim over her."

Clarke frowned. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Malia tsked. "You think I haven't seen the glares that you aim at me? Or heard the scoffs, snorts, or mocking you do?" She shook her head as he opened and closed his mouth like a fish out of water. "And don't get me started on the anger and jealousy I smell that's basically rolling off of you like waves. Like, damn, boy, control your emotions."

Clarke crosses his arms and tried to defend himself, "I don't know what you're talking about."

She scoffed. "You like her, it's that simple. And she likes you, too. So, either get a-moving or she'll never be yours, buddy."

Clarke went to speak, but was interrupted when Hope appeared out of behind the trees, holding a bunch of broken branches. Is this enough?" She froze as she looked between them with narrowed eyes. "Did I miss something?"

Clarke's eyes widened and he looked towards Malia who smirked and approached Hope. "No, nothing at all. Just a little bonding, that's all."

Clarke let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and watched Hope with wide eyes, trying to get his mind and heart under control.

Did he like her?
