"Peyton! You said we are meeting at seven behind the club right?" I asked the incredibly attractive guy in front of me.

We had been dating since ninth grade and it was senior year. I'd be full of crap if I said I didn't have strong feelings for him.

"Yes ma'am!" he exclaimed tossing his black hair out his face. This boy was the definition of Abercrombie&Fitch.

His golden eyes were like honey colored glass they had been shattered into millions of pieces. He had that "California surfer boy" tan going for him as well. His black hair was soft and slightly messy at all times. I believe you could say I'm still shocked he picked me as his high school sweetheart.

Peyton and I always met behind the club Punjai at seven on Friday nights. It was for people under twenty one. It was the hottest club for young people in L.A.

I was excited for tonight. I walked off the school grounds and to my house. I had gotten some new perfume and I wanted his opinion.

On those rare times that Selena and I had the same nights off, we of course liked to meet up. Punjai at seven o'clock sharp.

It was six thirty now and we were meeting at seven behind the restaurant so nobody would see us. Kenny was driving my Range Rover and I was in the passenger seat, scrolling through various emails.

"Kenny...it's been two years now that Selena and I have been dating...and we are older now...do you think we should start...ya know...talking about long-term?" I asked Kenny as I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

"I don't know man... She is gorgeous, smart, funny, and down to earth. You probably wont get anyone as good as her ever again..." he said thoughtfuly. I looked at him.

"Excuse me she is mine." I said with a hint of humour in my voice. He chuckled.

"I know. Look, man, you haven't made the best decisions lately. I love you bro, and you know I'll always stand by your side. But don't you think Selena, and all of your fans who love you more than humanly possible, deserve a little better?" He tightened his grip on the steering wheel as he continued to drive.

I tightened my jaw and clenched my fists. "I'm just... Going through stuff right now Kenny. Don't worry about it..." I said confidently. I knew he was right, but I didn't know how to explain to him how it was to be in my position. Instead, I kept silent and stared out the window at L.A. passing by me.
