chapter 8 - overwhelming truth

you stopped dead in your tracks as you made eye contact with him .

he looked more mature and his features were even more stunning . his jawline looked sharp and his plump lips are ever so glossy .

memories rushed in your mind , from the day he helped you at the playground to that day he left you .

more tears start to flow down you cheeks as you felt your body starting to tensed up .

" y/n !! are you okay ?!? " taehyung cupped your face and wiped you tears as another pair comes out .

then you looked at him again . he seemed surprised to see you with someone that isnt him .

a few seconds later he started to walk towards you . you took a step back , not wanting to have a conversation with him .

" its been a long time , y/n " he said , smiling weakly .

as you heard his voice , tears ran down your cheeks uncontrollably . you bit your lips trying not to sob .

" j-jimin " you finally said something .

taehyung just stood there dumb founded and chooses to stay quiet to let both of you talk .

" w-what a-are you doing h-here ? " you mumbled but clear enough for someone to understand .

" i just came back from america a few days ago "

" w-why did you leave m-me ? "

he didnt know what do say . all he could remember is that his parents forced him to pack his things so he could go to america to work at his father's company .

and the last thing he wanted to do is say goodbye to you . he didnt want you to cry and wait for him so he decided to just act .

jimin pov

" y/n can we meet up at the park at 3 ? " jimin said .

" sure ! " the other line of the phone said .

you fidget with your fingers as you wait for someone to show up .

" oppa~~ " a fimiliar voice said while giving you a back hug .

" y/n let go of me " you harshly said .

" is there something wrong ? "

" y/n im leaving to a different place and you wont see me anymore !! im leaving because i dont want to see you anymore !! i want you out of my life !! im saying this to you so you wont contact me nor my parents ever again !! " you shouted , you felt guilty but you tried to keep a straight face and stomped your way to your driver who was waiting for you .

you were in the car as you saw y/n dropped to the floor and cry but you couldnt help it because its better for her to hate you and move on with life .

although you knew you were the only person she could lean on , you didnt want her to wait for you because you dont know how long you would be away .

y/n pov

" look y/n im sor— " you cut him off .

" w-why ?! you knew i had no one and you just left me like that !!! " your voice shaked and your body shivered .

you were angry , you felt like you just want to slap him in the face . no maybe even punch him in the stomach .

you were confused , angry and upset . why did you suddenly meet him after 6 years ? 6 years of suffering alone without anyone helping you .

" my parents forced me to work in america okay !! i cant fight back can i ? i wanted to stay by your side but i cant !! " now jimin was the one shouting . you froze again .

from what you remembered his father works as the chairman of one of the famous companies in the world .

but why has he came back to korea all of a sudden ? you tried to organize your mind as jimin just stares at your face that was stained by tears .

" im sorry , can we just sort things out ? " he smiled weakly , you missed his smiled .

the ones that make his eyes just a line always made you smile back .

the three of you sat down as you sat in the middle . jimin did most of the talking and you just kept silent for most of the time .

you finally understood why he had to leave and both of you hugged each other .

you missed this hug . one of the only hugs you've been longing for . the smell of his cologne made you feel safe and secured .

" so uhm who's this ? " jimin finally broke the hug and questions about taehyung .

" oh my name is kim taehyung and i am y/n's boyfriend " he proudly says as he pulled his hand for a handshake .

" my name is jimin , y/n's childhood friend " jimin smiled and shook taehyung's hand . the smile you've wanted to see for a long time .

" owh are you the one in the picture with y/n and another boy at the playground ? " taehyung asked and jimin looked confused .

" uhh i guess so "

" come on let go to your house to celebrate our meeting " jimin said to you .

you nodded and took a bus with them to your house .

you unlocked the door and the smell of your home hits jimin like a baseball .

" i remember this " jimin said while grinning .

the three of you talked about how jimin and you met . you chuckled as you remember all the fun times you had with jimin .

it was getting late so you told them that they should go home and rest .

" awhh y/n can i sleep here pleasee~~ just for a few days~~ " jimin said while doing one of his cutest aeygo .

" yeah if he could stay here can i too~~ ? " taehyung commented after .

" okay okay , you can stop with all your aeygos now " you said while holding your laughter .

" both of you can sleep in my room with me , there will be a two couches that you can sleep at " you stated . those couches were comfortable enough for someone to sleep on and you had it in your room just so your room can feel more cozy .

" i need clothes though " both of them said in unison , staring at you .

you sighed before realizing it .
