Not Part of the Deal

The arrangement between you and Rosé was simple. Neither of you were looking for anything serious when you met each other. You were too busy with school and she was an idol who couldn't date even if she wanted to. The one thing that you both were looking for, however, was something to ease your stress. That's how you two ended up with the deal you have now, the deal that only you two knew about. You've never even explicitly told her group mates about it, they knew though.

Rosé and you met at a festival her group had performed at while you were working backstage. You had only been there because a friend of yours who was working the festival was short some workers and she had begged you for the help. Long story short, you were to make sure Blackpink had everything they needed and during that time of helping them, you and Rosé became quick friends. That quick friendship paired with a movie night at her place while her bandmates were out, some low lighting, and a 19+ movie on the television screen changed the dynamic of your friendship.

Now you're three months into what you and Rosé started, and things are changing. You find yourself at her dorm more, hanging out with her and the other girls. Sometimes you'll sleep over but not to do anything, just because she doesn't want you to leave. Whenever she has free time, she's texting or calling you to ask about your day. You don't put much thought into it, though. You kind of liked the attention.

Just like now, you're both lying in her bed after some much-needed relief time while her fingers comb through your hair. You're lying on her chest, absentmindedly running your fingers around the curve of her breast and down to her stomach. The light from the sun shines slightly through her curtains. Your lids start to close, you're completely at peace and comfortable in this moment. All too soon, though, your alarm goes off, reminding you that you have class in thirty minutes. You groan and she giggles.

"I better go," you say sitting up, suddenly missing her warmth, "I still have to go to the computer lab and print my essay."

She nods at you with a soft smile.

You begin to get dressed, fully aware that she's watching you closely.

"Do you still have practice later?" You ask, trying to break the silence and her gaze on you that was starting to make you nervous.

"Yeah," she murmurs.

You button up your jeans as she watches you carefully.

"Are you coming back over after my practice?" She questions you.

"I can't, my friend's birthday is today and I told her we'd go out."

"Oh," is all Rosé says.

There's a silence for a moment before she speaks up again.

"Where are you two going?" She asks, sitting up on the bed.

"There's this new club that opened a few weeks ago that she's been begging me to go to, so we're gonna meet some friends and go check it out."

"Mhmm" she hums.

You finish getting ready and start to collect your things. While you do, you feel arms wrap around you from the back. A light kiss is placed on your clothed shoulder.

"I'll text you when I can," you turn and smile.

She smiles back, "Don't forget."

After you say your goodbyes, you head out.

The rest of your day goes by painfully slow, the only thing keeping you alive in your lecture class is the thought of having a drink later tonight and unwinding with your friends. When your professor finally dismisses you, you can't get out fast enough. As you walk out of the building your class was just in, you notice your friend, Mina, sitting on the bench, she perks up when she notices you walking towards her.
