"It's you?!"
There kneeling down on one knee,the man I met in the lobby and rode the elevator with.
I didn't know him completely and vice versa but he saved me from my ex.
He smiled and leaned in.
"Don't worry,I'll take care of him"He whispered,got up and faced my ex that had a bloody nose.
I guess this mysterious hero punched him.
"Who the fuck are you!" My ex shouted at the man standing between me and him.
"The question is who are YOU?" This man before me stood his ground and coldly eyed down my ex.
"I'm her boyfriend!" Caleb screamed.
I flinched.
"I'm her husband" wow ok.
This guy's on a whole other level.
I was more stunned than my ex when this man claimed me as his wife!
The man glanced down on me and smiled,pulling me up on my feet and gently wrapped his arm on my waist in a protective manner.
I don't know who this man is but I'm glad he came to my rescue and what would've happened to me if he didn't intervene.
He gave my waist a gentle squeeze,saying that I should play along if I wanna get out of this situation alive.
"Oh yeah?then prove it" Caleb challenged,crossing his arms over each other with a determined smirk plastered on his face.
The man beside me lifted his left arm up and I unconsciously did the same.
Caleb's smirked dropped as he glanced at our left hands,coincidentally he had the same gold ring that I have,both of the rings were identical and it looked like wedding rings.
This unknown man smirked and pulled me closer to the side of his body,reassuring me that everything's gonna be alright as long as he's beside me.
Caleb started backing up with jealousy and anger swirling inside his brown-green eyes.
"This isn't over" He threatened and took off running for the elevator.
Long after my ex was gone,this man in front of me lets go of my waist.
"Thank you so much!! I don't know if I could ever repay you enough!" I beamed.
