"..8,..7,...6,...5,.." A harsh raspy voice counted from the shadows of the room. I knew this voice. "...4,...3,..2,...1!!!!" A bang rang in my ears. Then,... I woke up to sunlight yet again, blinding me. "I thought I told you NOT to wake me up with that stupid alarm!!!!!!" I screamed at Kagome, who looked at me with surprise and self pity.

"I...I'm sorry. It was the most effective."

"SCREW EFFECTIVE!!!!!! I order you use that other alarm from now on, ok?"

"Yes, master." Kagome bowed at my feet.

 "Good. Now, what's for breakfast?"

"Belgian waffles with a scoop of sherbet and green tea."

"The way I like them? With the fruit?"

 "Of course master."

"Good. What about homework? Is the history finished?"

 "No."

 "Well then, GET TO IT!!"

"Yes, master."

I live alone now days. Well, there is Kagome but he thinks too much like a cat. Always leaving to get stuff and all. I sometimes forget what it was like when my parents where alive. It's all just a warm fuzzy haze in my mind. I wish it could clear up someday. I slipped off my nightgown and walked over to the mirror. I placed my hand over the emblem on my chest Kagome branded me with that fateful night when we became one. I walked over to my bed and gathered my uniform on the way. All of a sudden Kagome burst through the door, tripping, then falling at my feet. "How dare you come in here without knocking!!!! Who do you think you are?!?!!?" I firmly placed my foot on Kagome's head and pressed down.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! MASTER, please stop!!!! It hurts!!!!"

"Then get up with your eyes closed and get out of here!!!!!"

"Yes master." Kagome left and I continued to get ready. I felt a strange temptation to cry, but I ignored it. After I was finished I went downstairs for breakfast. "Oh here is Kami-Ka right now. Master, your social person is on the phone."

"Oh ok. I guess I have to answer it today." I grabbed the phone from Kagome. "Hi Souji-san,"

"Hi Kami-Ka. How are you? I see you have had a friend stay with you lately."

"Umm.. Yeah. Hey I'm sorry but I really need to get going so I'm not late for school. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Oh okay. Have a good day! Bye." I hung up the phone and sat down at the table and began to eat.

"I really do hate it when others get into our business." Kagome said, glaring at the phone then looked at me.

"No! You can't go around killing people just because they annoy you. Insides, Souji-san supplies money for us. Do you want to starve?"

"No master, I don't."

"Then don't kill without my permission."

 "Yes, master."

"Good. Now that that's settled, let's hurry to the stop so we won't be late."

"Yes, master." Kagome and I put on our shoes and grabbed our boxed lunches then bolted out the door.

As soon as we reached the sidewalk, Lona came running over to us, waving her arms in the air,"Hey! Kami-Ka! Kagome! Wait for me!"

 "Master,"Kagome started. "I know." I interrupted him.
