That night, Kagome and I followed Suryogi home. We made sure he didn't notice us, but then Kagome started getting dizzy. It wasn't long until he fainted. I didn't know what Suryogi noticed first, the thud or my yelling. "You idiot! We're supposed to be stealthy! Is this what you call exactly quiet?!? Passing out on the sidewalk for everyone to see!?! You idiot!!!!" I kicked Kagome right in the gut and then left him there. That's when I realized Suryogi gawking in fear at us. Act normal you idiot! "U...Um, hi Suryogi-san! I didn't see you there. You see, um....K..Kagome and I were trying to catch a pigeon that stole my bracelet......uh, yeah! But you see, we lost sight of that pigeon now because Kagome fainted due to low blood sugar. Yeah! So, uh what are you doing?" "I'm walking home. If you want, since we're so close to my place, I could get you something to eat." "Oh yes, that would be nice. Thank you so much!" I walked over to Kagome's body, grabbed it by his legs and started dragging him. "Here, I will help carry him." Suryogi-san offered. "No he's fine. He only lets me touch him." Damn. That's makes him sound like a perv, but oh well. Not my problem. "Oh. Well then follow me." Suryogi-san gestured. It was not until he stopped in front of an apartment building. "This way." Suryogi-san said as he started up the stairs to the second level. "We here." Suryogi-san smiled, holding the door open for us. I walked in. "Luckily for you, my parents are still at work and won't be home until late. So make yourselves at home! Oh, you guys wait here while I get some food and drinks." Suryogi-san left the tiny living room. I picked up Kagome and threw him onto the couch. I sat on top him. Suryogi-san entered the room with a platter piled high with food and filled glasses of tea. I took one and gulped it down. "Thank you." I said. "Do you normally treat Kagome like that?" Suryogi-san point to Kagome's body that I was using as a cushion. "Sometimes. It depends on his state. Like it's hard to get him to be still when he's awake." "I could imagine. Now you two are brother and sister, right?" "Yep." "I bet you two must be a hassle for your parents." " Our parents are dead." "Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know." "Don't be sorry for something that happened that you couldn't help. You are just one person. They were just two. In the end, we are all nothing that can do nothing unless we seize the reins of life and make our own opportunities with our own will." With that, I left Suryogi-san speechless. "Now, if don't mind, I have an assassination to execute. Kagome, attack!" Kagome sprung to his feet and leapt at Suryogi-san's throat.
