"Well, I'm just so glad Winn Dixie returned aren't u daddy?" Said Rachel
"Ya...!" He said stubbornly.
Last night was so fun they sang, dance and even Otis played his guitar..he finally came out of his shell! But daddy hasn't yet😓.............
TWO YEARS LATER
I woke up all of the sudden to a sound of "cough, cough,cough" (barfing)
"Daddy are you ok??"
"No, Rachel, call 911, now!, fast"
I picked up the phone really quick and dialed 911 on the old squishy keypad.
"hello whats the emergency."
" I don't know for sure, my dad is coughing a lot and really loudly and he cant breathe.
"well be on our way FAST, where do you live?" they said worriedly.
" West rainbow drive clarksville, Indiana 47119!" "the ambulance is on their way daddy...." I said calmly.
"Rachel, honey what if I don't live through this, what if something terrible happens, I'm worried!" Said Mr. Hunter (Rachel's dad).
" I am so worried too, we can live through this.....together." Rachel said confidently.
As the ambulance truck pulls up Rachel starts to cry.
"Daddy, don't leave me alone, what am I supposed to do now!!" she said as she sobs clutching on to Winn Dixie and her dad's hand.
"Its ok Rachel just go to the neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Hendershot they will take care of you just tell them what happened to me and just have them bring you to Floyd Memorial Hospital tomorrow morning! They will take care of you, I promise."
Opal and Mr. Tuckens slowly let go and say their last goodbyes.
"I'll be fine, don't worry!" he said as he gets rolled into the ambulance.
"Daddy no dont leave me, stay with me!"
