Chapter 1

Sebastian’s Pov:

I was walking through the streets of London thinking ‘it hasn’t really changed since the 1800’s, Its just cleaner and the roads aren’t rough anymore’ I thought as I heard a kitten cry out in pain and another kitten trying to comfort it. I followed the sounds of the kittens and found a girl kneeling down above the kittens. ‘Her soul smells delicious, even better than ciel’s. Hers is so pure but has witnessed darkness but forgiven it’ I thought as I watched, she didn’t notice me. She picked up the hurt kitten and examined its bleeding leg; the blood was contrasted with the fur of the white kitten. ‘‘your quite hurt, aren’t you kitty’’ she said still looking at the wound. The kitten’s brother on the floor tried to climb her leg but failed. The kittens looked like they were only 2 weeks old. ‘‘How about I take you guys home with me? You don’t seem to have a mother and it’s very dangerous’’ she said putting the wounded kitten down. She took out a (f/c) handkerchief and wrapped it around the bloody leg. She then took off her coat and wrapped it around the kittens snugly. She turned around to pick up her bag when her eyes drifted to me.

Reader-Chan’s Pov:

I turned to pick my bag up when my eyes met with a man dressed in a black suit. He was awfully handsome with his blood red piercing eyes and raven black hair that framed his face perfectly. He was very tall and you could see how lean yet muscular he was through his jacket. He looked at me and said ‘’are you taking them?’’ I answered ‘’yes but if you want them then I’ll give them to you’’.

He looked at me with a sad expression and said ‘’no, I can’t unfortunately I live in an apartment complex that doesn’t allow pets’’ he said lowering his head. ‘I feel sorry for him’ I thought. ‘’well, if you would like I can bring them here tomorrow at the same time for you to play with them.’’ I said with a smile. ‘‘Really, you would do that for a stranger?’’ He asked as his face lightened up with joy. ‘‘well, yes I would do that for a stranger because of you show kindness to another person they will show kindness to another person and so on, like a cycle and plus I kind of feel sad that you can’t have something you want’’ I stated with my index finger in front of my face like I was making a point with smile on my face. He looked at me like I was weird and I started to giggle a bit. The kittens were asleep from the heat of my coat. ‘’anyway, I have to go home to bandage her up, it’s getting dark’’ I said as I reached for my bag. He picked it up and handed it to me. ‘‘Thanks, see the cycle is working’’ I said with a smile as I walked away with the kittens fast asleep in my arms.

Sebastian’s Pov:

‘What a strange girl’ I thought as I walked to my apartment. ‘I don’t need sleep but it’s relaxing to drift into a dreamless sleep now and then. I can’t wait to see those kittens tomorrow and maybe that girls soul might be mine’ I thought as I made my way toward the untouched bed. I laid my head down on the new pillow. ‘I didn’t even catch her name’ I thought as I remembered her.
