Hiya! Said I'd update a load, didn't I? I just went downstairs to watch TV, and I'm watching Ghost Adventures. Not a good thing to watching when you're home alone. With 2 dogs that keep barking for now reason. In an old house. And hardly any lights. Very good thing to watch when you need ideas for your story, though! And now there''s a creep voice saying 'I hear them... I hear them coming...' AHHHH! Please don't kill me, Pearl! Remind me when I die (somehow) to become a ghost and freak these TV show ghost-hunters out. But seriously, what's the point of dressing up to trick the ghost if the ghost already knows you're there? Oh my god, it's like fucking Woman In Black! LOL, he's an idiot. 'Look, I'm a fellow soldier! And he's the enemy! Take him old, fellow federate (?) soldiers that have also been in this room'. And now it actually looks like The Blair Witch Project!
Better write this before I get dragged off for real. *gulps* Ta-ta for now!

Niall's POV
'Guys!' Harry called ahead of Zayn and I. I quickened my pace at the sound of his confused and slightly excited voice, thinking maybe we had found some form of a trail or something. I exchanged a glance with my Bradford friend before turning to my curly-haired one.
'What is it, Harry?' Zayn asked tiredly, stopping next to me.
'Look,' he said, pointing to his feet. Squinting, I managed to make out a dark hole in the floor, his toes just teetering over the edge. From the ceiling to all the way into the blackness below was a thick, rusted chain.
'What do you suppose it's doing here?' I asked, crouching dwon next to it, careful not to fall.
'Maybe it just caved in at some point?' Harry guessed, shrugging.
'With a massive chain running through it? No, I think there's something down there.' Zayn raised his eyebrows at Haz and I. The thought of there being something, or someone down there made me shiver. I didn't know why, but it suddenly gave me the feeling of being watched. The others clearly felt the same, casting nervous and suspicious glances aroud at our surroundings.
'Do you think we should check it out?' I asked unenthusiastically.
'I don't know,' Haz replied uncertainly.
'What if we can't get back up?' enquired Zayn.
'We'll find a way. Eventually people will start to worry and come looking for us.' Despite the confidence in my voice, I was trembling with fear. Would be like what we found? I didn't know about the others but, personally, I didn't want to add to the list of things I'd need to see a therapist for.
'What's down there, do you think?' Zayn questioned.
'There's only one way to find out.' And with that, Harry took hold of the chain and began to lower himself down into the darkness.

None of our phones had battery anymore, so we just had to let the darkness swallow us up. My claustrophobia was beginning to get really bad down there, and Zayn and Harry kept patting my back reassuringly, knowing how I could get.
'I can't see a bloody thing!' Iexclaimed irritably, squinting in an attempt to see at least a metre in front of me.
'Is it me, or does it look a little lighter down there?' Zayn asked, ignoring me.
