Hugs

Deceit pov:

It was just another day and I was walking to Remus' room to wake him up because it was nearly lunchtime and he needed to eat something.

As I made my way down the corridor I stopped.

It was was Virgil's door from when he was still with us.

Something was different about it but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

"Shit!" I whispered under my breath.

I ran the rest of the way to Remus' room and flung the door open.

"REMUS! WAKE HE FUCK UP!"

"CRAP!" He yelped, falling out of bed.

He was already dressed, for whatever reason, so I grabbed his wrist and teleported  us to Virgil's room, we had no time to wait for Remus to do it himself.

We got there and both fell on top one another, scrambling to get up.

Remus was up first and began brushing himself off.

Once I finally managed to get off the floor I looked up and said, quite exasperated might I add,
"We came as soon as we could."

Virgil just stared gob-smacked at us for a moment before Remus nudged me and I turned my head slightly to the left to see and extremely confused Logic.

The blue-tie-wearing man turned to Virgil, pointed at Remus and I and calmly asked "What are they doing here?"

I turned back to Virgil to see that he hadn't really heard Logic and was shakily standing up.

He wobbled his way over to Remus and I but almost fell halfway so Remus lunged forward and caught him with his tentacles and carefully tried to help him stand up but Virgil wasn't having any of it.

He grabbed Remus around the shoulders in a hug. He had a huge smile on his face and tears pricking the corners of his eyes.

After a moment he looked back up to see me and instantly his smile widened and so did mine as I rushed over to him.

Grabbing him in a tight hug I felt tears of happiness begin to appear.

After about a second Remus joined in and we simply stood there for about a minute before Virgil withdrew from the group hug.

He shuffled his feet for a moment, sniffling and wiping tears from his eyes before saying "You guys always did give the best hugs."

We all laughed slightly at this and then something else happened.

Virgil smacked a hand to his forehead and hissed in pain, falling back into his bed.

The first to act was Logic (damn I forgot he was there). He reached over and caught Virgil before he hit his head on the wall and he sat him up, tubing circles on his back comfortingly.

I went and sat the other side of Virgil and Remus went to sit on the floor, placing a hand on his knee reassuringly.

I looked to Logic and said "Logic, I assume that you know the cause of this?"

He replied "I do but could we please focus on Virgil for the moment?'

I nodded and turned back to Virgil to see that his hand, although he still seemed in pain, was no longer on his face and instead scrunched up in a fist in his lap. He was shaking and his breathing had become uneaven.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and said in a soft voice "Hey, Virge, it's okay. Just look at me."
He looked at me with wide, scared eyes.

"There you go, see, it's alright. C'mon you gotta breathe in for four seconds..." He took a deep breath, "Now hold for seven seconds..." He held it, "Then breathe out for eight seconds." He exhaled.

He repeated this, beginning to calm down, lying his head in my lap. He had stopped shaking and his breathing was evened out a bit which was good.

I looked to Remus who seemed relieved. I wispered to him "Remus, could you please go and get me the pills?"

He nodded and sink out

Logic looked to me and said questioningly "Pills?"

"Since, during this week, normal painkillers won't work we had to make special medication so that we could get a decent amount of sleep."

"Oh, ok." He said seeming to understand.

"Oh, and, Logic... Thanks." I said quietly as Virgil was almost sleeping.

"Really, it's okay. And, please, call me Logan." He said at the same volume as me so as to not wake Virgil.

I nodded and said almost silently "Okay, I-I'm Dolion by the way."
