Millions of years ago a theory was made...
The question was written into a book, many gods and demi-gods trying to answer the question, but all they came to was the same conclusion. Surely if a half mortal recived to much godly power, surely they would die? It was the only explenation but there was no prove...So it became a theory....
The question was asked in a temple, millions of years ago, when all mortals belived in the gods. But this was a special mortal that prayed to the greek gods. Even though she didn't know it.
A special mortal that the gods would listern to.
The Oracle.
A Oracle spoke her thoughts one day to the gods, it had been on her mind for years, from a stranger in her dreams.
"I was wondering my lords" She said, praying to her gods at her temple.
"There is a question that burdens me" She said.
Silence followed her.
She contunued "I know about your children. The Demi-gods. But ever since I found out about them and my dreams I've been wondering the same thing, over and over again. The man in my dreams was burdened with this question to, and he past it on to me"
The candles near her flickered.
"All your Demigods are half godly and half mortal. My question is...What would happen if the child recived to much from their godly side? More than half? What would happen then my lords"
Suddenly the cadles flickered out. The women gasped as a man stood in front of her.
"My lord Apollo" She gasped.
He ignored her, his normal cheeful self not in existance and demanded "Who was this man who asked you this? Who gave you this question?"
The mortal women smiled, remembering his strong grip, the mans midnight black eyes, his black feathered wings embracing her, keeping her warm.
"My lord" She whispered, her eyes shining with faith and awe "My lord, he...Looked like an Angel"
