I flop down onto my bed. I can't help but think about him. Why is he so... stubborn? I don't know. But what I do know is that I need a game plan. I suppose I'll just sleep on it.

When I open my eyes to the light or morning. "Ughhh," I say.

I climb out of bed. Last might was a very productive night. I created the perfect plan.

J look in the mirror. Blue eyes stare right back into my soul. My light brown hair falls at my back. My eyes dart to the picture I placed on my mirror. It's a picture of my mother.

She looks so beautiful, and I wish nothing more than to reach out and give her a big hug. Her hair, the color of a perfectly baked, fresh from the oven, vanilla cake. Her eyes, the color of the sky. Her lips, the color of a rose. The perfect image of who I want to be.

The other things on my mirror consist of pictures of my friends, pictures of my parents, pictures of me, and my name.

My vanity already came with a lit up M, so I'm not sure why I put my name there, but I did.

Well, I'd better get going. I have a plan to follow through with.

I head downstairs. "Morning, Dad."

"Good morning Mel," my dad says.

I pop a waffle into the toaster. What if my plan fails? What will Lithingdar think of my plan? Why do I have so many questions?

"Uh, Mel. Your waffle is done." My dad breaks through my mind.

"Oh, right," I grab my waffle.

After I eat my waffle, I head for the Dangerous Prison. They call it this because this building is where they keep all the dangerous mythical creatures. Lithingdar is here of his murderous powers. I walk down the aisle, talking in each cage. The one on my right has a skeleton against the bars.

To my left is a man sitting on his bed. Every now and then, his eyes flicker to red, then back to a blue-gray.

When I get to Lithingdar's cage, I stop.

"Hello," I say.

"Hi," he sighs. He stands up and walks over. He plops down onto the floor. I sit down too.

"I have an idea," I tell him.

"Ok, let's hear it then," he says.

"Alright," I say. "I know that there is a key somewhere in here, but where?"

"That's your plan? There is a key somewhere?" Lithingdar asks.

"I'll get the key, and let you out," I correct him.

"Oh, of course," he says.

"I'll be right back with a key," I say. "Hopefully," I add.

"Ok," he says.

I walk back down the aisle towards the gaurd room. The gaurd is sleeping with his mouth open. It looks kinda funny.
I carefully crack the door open. The gaurd moves a teeny bit in his sleep. I pause, frozen. He stops wiggling.

I push the door open and crawl inside. I close the door after me.

I look around. Where could the key be hiding?

Suddenly I see it. Well, them. A key ring clipped to the guard's belt.

I slowly reach, reach. Only a bit further. Touched it. I find the clip part and unclip it. This unclipping movement woke the guard up.
