Family Dinner

Hoseok turned on his side as he let out a loud groan when he felt a sudden bright light hit his face. His body felt sore, and his throat felt dry, with an immediate need to go to the bathroom. It made him whine in frustration because he wanted to stay in bed all day long and do nothing. He wasn't the type of person to spend his days off lazing around in bed or be unmotivated, but maybe he was more tired than he initially thought. Who could blame him, though? When he had a busy schedule with interviews, recordings, and preparation for their next concert all week long.

Along with the sudden urge to help out their new boy group, Tomorrow by Together with their debut choreography. Usually, he didn't offer his help to trainees due to his busy schedule, as it would make him overwork himself. However, their junior's debut was approaching, and after the hardships they had to face during their debut, he wanted to be an excellent senior to the youngest members of their family. Therefore, he spent a reasonable amount of time helping them out over the week with perfecting their performance and getting to know them more, and hopefully, become closer enough to be considered family.

The word family bought a sudden thought of his own family, which made his eye open wide as he remembered the day it was, it was the day he had been anticipating for in the last two weeks. Today was the day he was finally going to see his family. The day he was going to see his lovely sister after a long time. It was a good day, in his opinion, that he looked forward to, and it made him smile ear to ear.

Hoseok blinked a few times to adjust to the light. He blankly stared at the door of his closet, trying to make his brain function again because his mind was foggy, and he wasn't sure what time it was or if it was Sunday or Monday.

"I guess I should get up and get ready for the day," he said out loud, yawning and stretching out his body.

Hoseok lazily walked to the bathroom and started to shower. He loved the way his body relaxed by the warm sensation of the water, hitting his sore muscles. Maybe this was a good sign, he thought to himself; a good sign that he was going to have a beautiful day.

Once he got out of the shower, he knew it was time for his skincare routine. It didn't matter how tired he was after a long day of work, Hoseok made sure to do his daily skincare routine because he needed to take care of his skin. Besides, his sister always scolded him for being forgetful when they were younger, so Hoseok made sure to complete the assignments that he needed to do before he left the house.

Maybe that's where I get my cleaning and organization habit? Hoseok asked himself.

It took him half an hour to get ready, and by the end of the day, he wished to have a wonderful dinner with his family. Hoseok decided to wear a wine red dress shirt paired up with black slacks and shoes. He knew he looked handsome, especially with his hair parted, showing a little bit of his forehead, which he knew made their fans go crazy.

After looking in the mirror one last time and getting his wallet, Hoseok walked out of his room. It was only then when he realized that Jimin wasn't in their shared bedroom. Maybe the younger went out with some friends or with one of the members, but he didn't care about it for the moment. He was too excited to see his family.

"Hyung! You look gorgeous!!" Jungkook complimented him, smiling ear to ear, stopping Hoseok's tracks. The younger was wearing black pajamas and cradled in his arms a bowl of popcorn. How could someone eat popcorn so early in the morning? Hoseok would never understand.

"Thanks," he replied.

"Are you sure you're going to visit your family? You look like you're ready to go on a date."

"You think so?" Hoseok chuckled. He wanted to impress his family by showcasing his good looks, but maybe he went a little overboard.

"Yeah, but it doesn't matter. You look good, regardless. Tell your parents and your sister I say hello."
