She used to think she was alone, all alone, but she realised she wasn't. She was never alone however she didn't have any living soul that she could tell all her feelings to.

She would often find herself looking at people from the window of the cafeteria, writing and taking random pictures trying to capture the indescribable feelings while sipping the Latte. She often thought having too high expectations is quite selfish because you set standards that you hope someone lives up to. Many of these expectations come from viewing people through a 2D perspective, pictures. Hence you don't see their flaws you just see them. But when it comes to people we know, we see them through a 3D perspective, we see their flaws and such but since we have standards taken from the 2D perspective the people we know seem to have way too many flaws. Way too....lacking.

It took many years for her to come to terms with herself, to find comfort in her own skin, to accept herself. It was hard and it still is a struggle, a huge one at that. It was hard to embrace yourself when everyone constantly made you feel odd, useless. But she had patience, and she would use that patience to endure this because she knew it was worth it. She wouldn't forget the promise; "with hardships comes ease"

Every time she was on the brink of giving up she would go back to this one ayah "Be patient, with a beautiful patience"

She often felt like she was on top of a mountain, on the edge of a building just seconds away from falling down but every time she would be saved. Life got hard but no one said it was going to be easy they just said it would be worth it.
